It would be cool if they allowed some limited time colors for factory orders. Maybe that lime green or come out with a new Highlighter Orange. They could call it new road cone or safety vest orange. Haha

I am hoping for Gobi or Gator again and any other good looking colors. It would be cool if they allowed some limited time colors for factory orders. Maybe that lime green or come out with a new Highlighter Orange. They could call it new road cone or safety vest orange. Haha
I wonder if Stellantis even wants the Gladiator stick around. They treat it as an afterthought anyway. I'm thinking they will milk it as long as possible and dump it without a new model.Competitors (Tacoma TRD pro, Ranger Raptor, Colorado ZR2) now have 400+ torque in MY2024. If MY24 Gladiator doesn't offer any comparable powertrain option, Jeep will lose the market. It would be a big mistake. Wish Gladiator comes with V8 option but we all know it's not gonna happen. At least I want 4xE. I don't care about fuel mileage, just need some power.
Not to mention, if under the seat when it bursts into flames?, you'll get your a** burnt. ?I just hope if they do bring the 4xe to the gladiator that the battery is under the truck(like ford) and not under the seat. There will be no storage at all if the battery is inside the cabin.
no IFS needed. Putting in the full float axle and the hurricane engine would do it.They need to go ifs and up the tow rating with a new powerplant. That will compete with the zr2 and new ranger and Tacoma. They are being left in the dust.
I'd be happy with Mojito or Reign from the JLI am hoping for Gobi or Gator again and any other good looking colors.
They will never compete in on road manners or in the sand without ifs. The only thing a solid axle is good for is articulation and load carrying (strength). Ifs also opens them up to taller power plants because they don't have to worry about the axle.no IFS needed. Putting in the full float axle and the hurricane engine would do it.
Without a solid axle front, I'd argue there is no point to the Gladiator. Not everything has to have the most perfect road manners. The Gladiator is supposed to be the best offroader that lets you do truck things. Not a truck that lets you do some offroad things. They will never compete in on road manners or in the sand without ifs. The only thing a solid axle is good for is articulation and load carrying (strength). Ifs also opens them up to taller power plants because they don't have to worry about the axle.
Looks like the two hooks are Red!Sure looks like blue outlined lettering on the hood to me
Just like my wife, crushing hopes and dreams, can't just let me believe they are releasing a 3.6 based 4xe in hella YellaLooks like the two hooks are Red!
Honestly I think the 4xe is way better than any of the EV's out there. At least you can run on gas when you travel longer distances. The infrastructure isn't readily available to "fill up" an EV when the batteries drain at the end of their range. The cost and time required to fully charge makes EV's impractical for just about anything except commuting in town. The overall cost of EV's and the future battery replacement is sounding astronomical and IMO effectively makes them not feasible for 80% of Americans.
A plug-in hybrid on the other hand is at least relatively practical even if it is more costly.
That said I am sticking with my gas powered JT until they want to do an even swap for a new 4xe, because that is the only way I would consider one.
My guess is most of the 2024 "improvements" will be cosmetic.
They need to go ifs and up the tow rating with a new powerplant. That will compete with the zr2 and new ranger and Tacoma. They are being left in the dust.
Now that's manuafactured scarcity at its finest.I’m curious what’s going to happen with the workers strike. They are going to release the 2024 gladiator and then potentially have a strike 24 hours later.
