I had one of my techs do that today and my advisor aiming for that bigger cut after the fact. Told them we'd eat the cost, but inform the customer asap before I make the call; as there is no gain, gain it with the survey for minimal profit and aim for the next service visit. As it is a recurring customer w/multiple vehicles that drops money.... We could of lost a solid 7 years of busines due to our issues at hand but sadly though, it does happen, someone ruins the process and it goes haywire. It is the course of action or some form of offer to remedy the issue. It happens thoughThe summary is the same in any case - that shop screwed up, someone there did for sure.
