I have the 7” one.Curious, which radio do you have? My dealership parts guy thinks the radio's that control everything are killing batteries

I’m at 18K, it was turning over and running fine but the Start Stop didn’t work and the voltage was running at 14v+. I didn’t care about the start stop function but I knew it was close to dying completely.Went to start mine this evening and dead battery wouldn't turn over, dash was showing 10.4V, headed to dealership tomorrow. I'm at 19 months ownership and just hit 14k miles.
I did the same the Saturday before Christmas.Froze my a$$ off. Started the voswitch install. Had to move my winch solenoid and rework the mount and rewire it, as it was previously in the spot the voswitch panel needed to go. Cleaned up some wiring, removed a now unnecessary wireless fob receiver, and mounted the panel under the hood. Quit for today as it’s too cold now. The heat gun would barely shrink tubing because it was too cold out. First picture is before. The second is the current state, and the winch is functional and tested. I’ll finish it up another day.

interesting. The Voswitch instructions I had put the box on the driver’s side of the engine compartment.Froze my a$$ off. Started the voswitch install. What model? My JL400 says to use the passenger side, or right fender.interesting. The Voswitch instructions I had put the box on the driver’s side of the engine compartment.
That does put it closer to the battery. What model? My JL400 says to use the passenger side, or right fender.

I wonder why the 300 goes on that side. Where are the switches for the 300? The 400 uses the driver side grab handle.JL 300.

They go in dash where the manufacturer’s switches go.I wonder why the 300 goes on that side. Where are the switches for the 300? The 400 uses the driver side grab handle.
Got it. That makes sense. Maybe it has to do with routing wire to that location. I have factory aux switches, but had used them up.They go in dash where the manufacturer’s switches go.
