I use mine as a grab handle still. It was a big concern of mine when I bought the Voswitch, but it's very solid.
Not concerned about "solid" etc. - concerned about getting in or out with truck running and thumb hitting a button..........(in my wife's case, fingers wrapping around and pushing a button or palm of hand hitting a button.

Makes sense. Not something I've run into though.

I’m curious if having them on the grab handle gets in the way when using the handle to get in the jeep.
I’ll have to check how I use the handle to see if there will be conflict.

I have the 8 switch grab handle and grab it to get in all the time. I'm a big guy and pull myself into the Jeep with its help.
I have never 'accidently' pressed a button. They require a definitive push to activate and change colors when they are activated.
There is also a main power switch at the top, if it is turned off, none of the other buttons are even active.

This is partially addressed by the switch panel's design. The switches are not active unless the panel is turned on. In the absence of a trigger signal being connected (e.g. ignition, headlights, etc.), then the upper most button (the power button) needs to be pressed before the other buttons are live. Granted this isn't perfect for the situation that you're describing but it does partially address it ... depending on your use case, you could choose the appropriate trigger wire or no trigger.

Not all today, but the past few days...

I am coming from a 2018 Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon to the Gladiator JTR. Below is a list of things done in the past week. Looking forward to learning and participating on this forum.

1. Bought it January 2, 2024
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] CSP_0660

2. Got busy with enhancements. First the MOPAR sill guards
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] CSP_0696

3. Then got the MOPAR all weather mats
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] CSP_0705

4. Added the MOPAR grab handles - not for tall people and I am short so I find them helpful
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] CSP_0707

5. Having once had to use one of these that I had mounted in a previous car to put out an engine fire when the carb backfired, I always have one in all vehicles. I am not sure about this location, not sure if it will interfere with seat belt operation in an emergency situation, or if it will work loose and hit me in the head. Had it in my Wrangler JLUR.

6. Best cheap mod for any Wrangler or Gladiator. @Redline Tuning struts. Love them, easy to unhook if you want to lay the hood all the way back, too.

7. And finally, the MOPAR winch guard from my Wrangler, winch to come later.

Next up are a BAK FLIP F1 Tonneau Cover, thanks Amber at @RealTruck for the forum discount. Also coming soon, the MOPAR Jeep Performance Parts Rock Rails. Then I will check out adding the MOPAR AUX switches (had them in the JLUR, could not locate a Gladiator with them and the other stuff I wanted). I already have a Tazer, need to get a Z automotive SGW extender.

Does anyone know if Jeep fixed the sun visor issue where the holder breaks and the visor drops? Maybe I'll just go ahead and get the TACCOM product as insurance.

Well, that's it for now. Happy with the Gladiator so far.

Yeah, I know. Time to get it dirty. I hate mud, but black vehicles are dirty 20 minutes after you clean them so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Can't wait to see the finished product with all of your upgrades installed!

I don’t know. Having now felt the buttons on the small one, I don’t think so. I thought about the big one since it’s only like $70 more, but I just didn’t think I’d use that many for my build.

I agree with the button push feel. It would be tough to hit one accidentally.

I find it very unlikely that this would be an issue. You’d need to try to push one.

That answers that - a master switch, too.

I’ve so far opted to not use a trigger wire. I’d be more inclined to if others drove it more often, but I don’t see it as a big concern. And I wanted two of the connected devices to work when the jeep was off. That’s part of why I chose it, so I could reach it to turn on lights without needing to reach in to the aux switches in the center.

I may only need 4 but definitely not 8.
The 4 button is up out of the way and doesn't look like it would get any contact anyway.

I also like that it remembers what items were turned on, if you turn off the master power with accessories on. It allows me to turn on or off multiple accessories with one button press.

I drove it today for the first time since I finished the install. And I used the handle without thinking about. I was nowhere near the buttons.
