The Falken Wildpeak A/T4W is here at last and the new A/T4W is shaping up to outshine its immensely popular A/T3W in every respect. This includes tread depth, weather protection, and on-and off-road performance.

Previously only available on the Wildpeak R/T and Wildpeak M/T, Falken has introduced their three-ply DURASPEC technology into the A/T4W (available on select sizes). This construction is stiffer and thicker compared to it's 2-ply counterpart, to endure harsh off-road conditions. No matter the terrain, from smooth highways to rough paths, this all-terrain tire will keep you safe and secure. The three-peak mountain snowflake weather indication and weather-focused tread composition and pattern give it the ability to tackle almost any weather condition.

If you've already got your hands on a new set of WildPeak A/T4W tires for your Jeep Gladiator, we'd love for you to share your initial impressions along with a picture or two!

-KEY FEATURES-
  • A brand-new rubber tread composition ensures your tires provide long-lasting comfort on the road.
  • Falken introduced their revolutionary 3-ply DURASPEC Sidewall Technology. This technology is only available on certain sizes.
  • The new staggered shoulder blocks and projecting sidewall lettering work together for an extra grip, even on tough conditions.
  • The latest Heat Diffuser technology releases trapped heat from within the tire. This provides even more stability. Whether you're towing or carrying a heavy load.
  • Increased tread stiffness and a sturdy build allow for greater load capacities and tire pressures than A/T3W.
  • The tread pattern is both familiar and amplified. It has 3D Canyon Sipes and a silica-enhanced compound to improve performance and traction in snowy, icy, and rainy weather.

Oof! 37x12.50R-17 only available as load range E! Too much. Hopefully they release a D or even a C.
This. I loved my Wildpeak AT3Ws I had when I was on 35's, but they are so heavy, I couldn't justify them again with the jump to 37's. My 37" KO2s are 6 pounds a tire lighter and get better fuel milage than my E range 35's. If they would come out with a C range AT4W, I'd hop back on the train in a minute.

This.
I'm done running E-rated tires, I want some compliance on the trail an the road. Plus E-rated tires are heavy as hell and not needed for my use case. I may just bite it and do the 11.5 width rather than go wider and be locked into the E-rated one.

Super cool to see a 35x11.5r17 size. Could be a great upgrade for mojave and rubicon owners.
Definitely a cool option in a C load range! In stock too!

I hear the current ones don't do well on snow once you hit about 20k miles on them. Are these any better?

When folks start reporting back at 25, 35k+ that they are happy with them, I would consider. Pretty disappointed in the 3’s post 25k~ miles.

I’ve run AT3W’s on the last two Jeeps and a Dodge. Best all around tire I’ve ever had, especially in the wet and icy stuff.

4W’s on now and loving them. The 3 ply sidewall is exactly what this tire needed.

20K miles is 36% of the 55K mileage warranty. Should you not expect to be getting that much less traction in snow versus new?

If they did the 35x12.5x17 in LR-C I will be there for the next set. I would even settle for a D-rated, E-rated is just too much.

Just got a set of Open Country AT3's in this size. I really like them but would have probably waited for these knowing this.
