@Steven_B – we are using liners for our clothing. We each have a luggage liner which has two flexible compartments, flexible meaning that each can take the total room of the liner. Clean on one side, dirty on the other.
We do wash while traveling – it isn't too bad. Take a water proof bag and put dirty clothes in, put some water in, some biodegredable soap, close the bag and "work it". Do that for a while, dump the water, put some clean water in, rinse the clothes same way, dry either at camp or in the truck cabin (front) via camping clothlines. Works okay for lightweight t-shirts and underwear. I don't buy into the merino hype, that stuff just doesn't last, so I use cotton t-shirts (because polyester stinks) and whatever underwear works. From time to time we stay at a place with running water and do our cleaning there.
This has worked for us on many trips. I've even done month long motorcycle trips this way, although these were mostly overnight in a hotel, so washing in the sink, drying in the room. But with the truck it really isn't much harder if you're willing to do it.
For a two week trip, if I didn't want to wash much, I'd bring seven t-shirts (one lasts about two days if isn't too hot outside), two pairs of outdoor pants, two sweatshirts, seven pairs of socks. Underwear I'd eather wash or bring one set per day. Plan on washing/showers for yourself. This might be TMI, but for me, if I don't clean myself properly (heat some water, use a washcloth all over, find a way to wash hair) at least every second day, I can't sleep anymore because I feel I stink like a skunk ...
