@Steven_B – we are using liners for our clothing. We each have a luggage liner which has two flexible compartments, flexible meaning that each can take the total room of the liner. Clean on one side, dirty on the other.

We do wash while traveling – it isn't too bad. Take a water proof bag and put dirty clothes in, put some water in, some biodegredable soap, close the bag and "work it". Do that for a while, dump the water, put some clean water in, rinse the clothes same way, dry either at camp or in the truck cabin (front) via camping clothlines. Works okay for lightweight t-shirts and underwear. I don't buy into the merino hype, that stuff just doesn't last, so I use cotton t-shirts (because polyester stinks) and whatever underwear works. From time to time we stay at a place with running water and do our cleaning there.

This has worked for us on many trips. I've even done month long motorcycle trips this way, although these were mostly overnight in a hotel, so washing in the sink, drying in the room. But with the truck it really isn't much harder if you're willing to do it.

For a two week trip, if I didn't want to wash much, I'd bring seven t-shirts (one lasts about two days if isn't too hot outside), two pairs of outdoor pants, two sweatshirts, seven pairs of socks. Underwear I'd eather wash or bring one set per day. Plan on washing/showers for yourself. This might be TMI, but for me, if I don't clean myself properly (heat some water, use a washcloth all over, find a way to wash hair) at least every second day, I can't sleep anymore because I feel I stink like a skunk ...

I do the duffle bag thing.....one for the bulkier stuff like heavy pants/long sleeve shirts and one for the more compact stuff like T-Shirts, undies, and socks. I also have a backpack where I carry all of my personal hygene items, and 2 days on undies, socks, and T-Shirts. I reload the backpack every 2 days......

With this, I can toss up the tent, grab my bedding, CPAP, and backpack and have pretty much everything I need in secs. Also works great for an overnight in a motel!

Oh, yeah. Forgot that: we keep all our really important and expensive stuff in a daypack sized backpack each. That's wallet, laptop, camera, etc.

We ALWAYS take this out when leaving the car. Too much of a pain in the butt if that stuff gets stolen.

On my 3 month trip I have a 3 drawer dresser plastic from Walmart on the back seat and every night take out the clean clothes for the next day and the dirty goes into a small backpack and once I week I’d stop at a laundry mat to do laundry and shower, by time time the wash is done so is my shower, throw the wet clothes in the dryer and in 1 hr it’s dry and I’m back on the road

We lived for a year in ours. Cubes. Love the cubes. Then we both had large green aviators bag and tossed them in there. Nothing fancy.

Today's canopy camper "mod", "installed" a compost toilet by Trelino. It will be used mainly in the shower cube, but after testing (just sitting, not using) it can be used inside in a pinch (no pun intended) in emergency situations. ?

Just as an FYI here: we have one of these for sale for half price (like new, plus shipping) ... it's the Origin version with the wooden lid, but otherwise probably exactly the same.

Cubes is the way to go. We just started our journey and the wife and I each have our own packing cubes. They live on the back shelf and if they aren't packed too full, we can get the bed down with them there with no issues. They are also super easy to move if needed. We have a duffel that they go in when we are staying with friends.

Yes, it is the house roof mount. It bolts directly to the track on the roof. I also have the interior panel and cradle for the dish. Sorry, I don't have a close photo of it at the moment

Hey folks – another question for you.

If you have a Rotopax water container mounted somewhere on your ACCC rig, this question is for you: is it possible to see the water level in the container from the outside? Or is the material too thick?

Thanks!

Easy to see with the white water one.
