Yes, I'm kind of theming my Jeep, going black with red accents, and I'm looking for a hawse fairlead in red. I've poked on Extreme Terrain, I've poked on Quadratec, and all the ones in red are either out of stock, or don't exist...

Frankly, I'm contemplating just getting a raw aluminum hawse fairlead and taking it to a shop that does type III anodizing and can do colors. See if I can get a deal where they add it to an existing run of red items rather than doing a one-off.

So, does anyone have suggestions on where I might be able to find a red hawse fairlead?

Not sure why I wasn't checking Amazon, although I dislike that they don't indicate what level anodizing is used (higher levels will last longer,) although for the price I could buy a 5 pack and just swap it out every time the finish starts to wear away...

I'm not going for THAT much of a meme! Honestly, I prefer the "clean" lines of a basic oval, maybe with a bump at the top for the manufacturer name, so...

No angry eyes for this Gladiator unless someone cuts me off in traffic!

Interesting how so many of these seem to be powder coated rather than anodized...

Which on thinking about it, makes sense, powder coating is a LOT cheaper and faster than anodizing...

The Rubitrux above has a lot more radius on the inside for winch line to slide on then all the others posted above, pretty important place to have the radius larger, the one that came with my Warn and the aftermarket one I bought both have a lot of radius. Looks are important but function is more so…..Jack

One nice thing about Maximus-3 for me...

They're local!
Now I wonder if I could drive over to their shop / warehouse / offices and buy direct.

Take a six pack hangout and ask them after they get to know you!
