Probably the easiest and cheapest route, would be to just get one of the new power seats.
I know you got the skills to wire it up. I haven't seen one yet, but I'm guessing it just needs power and ground.
Did you look very close at the power seat?
The wife's JLURD goes in next week for the HPFP, hopefully I can check out the new seats then. The thought of adding the power seat has definitely crossed my mind.

I had thought about trying to find a power seat for her JLU Rubicon 4xe - the only issues are the seat and window switches for her when she drives.

I suspect it would be pretty easy, but NOT cheap, to find a pair of seats for her JLU but then I rarely drive it, or should say rarely "get to" drive her Jeep. Mine is more of a daily driver, trip vehicle, that sort of thing, so needs to be comfy, easy for her to adjust things, and so on.

of course I told her "the new radio runs a new OS, and it's capable of handling two phones at a time, allowing you to get in and choose if you are driver 1 or 2, and split screen........." and geesh, should keep mouth shut.

Purpose built. Use as designed.

Yeah, back to being out in 0 to minus 10 degrees, 15+ mph winds, freezing, snow blowing in face and having to stop and take a "warm up break" every so often. After a snow here, the temp usually takes a dump into the single digits or lower.
I can take a pretty wide swatch in comfort, 70" wide.

You gotta put on the neoprene duck hunting waders and toughen up!

Got the plow so i could sit in a comfy heated Jeep and plow for an hour instead of being outside on a lawn tractor with a much much smaller blade moving snow for 2 or 3 hours. The JT will move a heck of a lot of snow really fast - and I stay nice and warm. Ideal for having Reynauds, etc. Nice and toasty and FAST. Open garage door, drive out, start plowing. In a hurry? Two passes up the drive might have it mostly cleared as opposed to an hour on a small tractor.
I was thinking you had a tractor more along these lines.

I wouldn't waste my time putting a plow on a lawn tractor. Takes too long to do the job IMO. I hear you about the cold though......and I suspect I have a touch of Renaulds as well.

Didn't realize you were pondering all this just to get the power seat. The suggestion to retro the seat seems like a good one.

No, not "just" power seats.
Power seats would cost probably only $4,000 or so to do as far as just straight out purchase of new.
You'd have to actually order the full seats and so on, and there's airbags to deal with and more - it's not just power seats, these things have air bags in them which have to integrate - so I'm not willing to say they'd be a bolt in and wire them up thing - the sides of the seats are even marked "air bag".
I don't think these would be just plug and play, and the fact there's the air bags - the 2024s have "side curtain" air bags - roll bar and seat if I understand correctly.

(the current seats do have side air bags, but would the wiring be the same, or have to figure it out? They just aren't marked as clearly as the new ones)

And there's the radio upgrade - this UC5 blows away the "so 1990s" UC4 systems that look like a teenager programmed or designed the screens back in about 1995. Even my son, a computer graphics guy, said "what's up with the Jeep radio screens - looks like you made it, Dad"

The new screen will split into two different displays if you want - NAV on one side, radio or other stuff on the other side. Two phones can be connected at once. The response to AA is fast, no cable needed. Dealer demo'd by connecting his phone and displaying AA from his phone on the screen, showing maps on one side, other stuff on the other side, and how fast the response was. The ease and speed was good (not instant, but blows away the current radios)

I had forgotten to check the door stickers while there snooping yesterday, so I asked Scott to get the payload numbers off the sticker for me.
Ouch. These are desert rated and not sold as towing and hauling trucks for a reason. My 2020 Overland was about 200 pounds better than the Mojave and even my loaded 2022 Overland is almost 100 pounds better. By the time you put on a winch, hook up a trailer and sit in the seat, yo are done. Leave the cooler at home!!

First, my 2020 Overland -

Next, my 2022 Overland - lower but then I also got SelecTrac (otherwise identical truck, so can't explain the drop) It went from 1031 in 2020 to 930 in 2022 for the same truck ->

And now for the 2024 Mojave - better lose some weight, guys, forget towing, heavy racks and big accessories - once you sit in it with your family, better leave the bed empty ->

860?
So put on a 70 pound winch and 20 pound winch plate, 860-90=750
Add a 5,000 pound trailer with 500 pound tongue weight 750-500=250
Set your sorry #@$ in the seat and toss in a cooler - you are DONE.
Forget power steps, tonneau covers (this one has no tonneau cover!)

And this is one of many reasons I am pretty much out of the Gladiator market after this truck. I simply can't get what works for me without going to a complete base model truck, or paying too much money and losing capacity.

That is a full 600 pounds less capacity than my Max Tow Sport.

Among other things the power seats, more airbags, and that wider screen add weight, and they require more wiring harness's.

One does have to consider - take the payload of my Overland and then figure the Mojave as shown has rear steel bumper with the bed side protection, front steel bumper with skid plate and the heavy rock rails. Possible that if you took the weight of the Mojave steel bumpers and skid plate that's over and above what the Overland plastic bumpers and air dam weight is, you might come up with that difference. Just interesting that with the Mojave beefiness, it's not rated a bit higher in payload.
I suspect my power steps don't weigh that much more than the Mojave rock rails and if I did the math, my Overland payload at this point is pretty similar.
But the part that hit me first was - Mojave - frame is supposedly different, wider axles, etc. but the payload is no better than an Overland and when you add the weight of the steel bumpers and rails, you are under a stock Overland.

Not cheap, but looks like plug n play from here. Consider the time to make something.....
How about steering linkage clearance on a full flex, I wonder........
Barnes makes some nice stuff, so I would hope that they checked the clearances!

As for the level of effort, for me at least, 55 bucks (plus Uncle Sam's cut) is not a bad price to pay to save the trouble of measuring, cutting, and welding something together. I know I've been in situations where I spent more money trying to save a buck at times. Barnes turned this job into 2 bolts, 2 frame clamps, and 2 cinch clamps per side at that point.

It also looks like you could flip/reverse which sides they're on if you needed too. I'd say measure an inch or so from the bottom of the overland swaybar with the plow mount on to see if it may clear.
