It would have to be ANOTHER 10k off of all that for me to buy a red gladiator... that would give me plenty of savings to wrap it in another color;)

Last week we leased a 2023 Gladiator with the freedom package. It listed for 53, 500, they knocked 9,000 off, and gave good money for my trade. There dealing now. I'm loving the truck, we may buy it at the end of the lease. If the moneys right.

I can't be the only one thinking that getting excited over these rebate/coupon prices is kinda silly considering current prices are astronomically ridiculous. We're being gaslit into thinking it's a deal.

I'm doing a cargurus search and overall with a very few exceptions, unicorns/one offs, the prices now on 2023's are NOT as good as before the end of the year. In Nov/Dec, Jeep had 15% off MSRP deals and a percentage of dealers, at least within 500 miles of me were matching it for 30% off. I got a Freedom Edition that way and have yet here four months later to see anything matching that.

Of interest right now is that you go to the Jeep site for incentives and they say 18% off Diesels. But then you go look and its only 13% off on dealer sites quoting Jeep incentives...AND dealers are not matching anything Jeep is doing. Dealer incentives are in the 2500 to a bit more range, in general.

I traded in a 2018 loaded (Latitude) Jeep Renegade with 40K miles on it, that I got in May/June 2019 at 30% off MSRP. That frankly was a wonderful daily driver plus here in MT. But once I could get a 60,800 MSRP Gladiator for 42K and change, I went for it since I looked at the first ones longingly when I got the Renegade but thought they were too expensive...like 18K more than the Renegade back then, no incentives selling like hotcakes.

I'm wondering if people can just wait another month or so if the really big discounts will hit like back in 2019 (before Covid) AND the fed will do its first pull back on rates and we will see a nice little favorable bump off of interest rates. Those two together would be nice. I'm waiting to refinance mine and the whole purpose of reduced fed rates is to goose the economy a bit.

We still are NOT going to see rates in the 3.5% range again any time soon though like 2019 - early 2022. I actually got 3.24% for 84 months on my Ram 2500. Based upon watching all this closely, the last six months of 2019 were likely the very best time overall to buy a new vehicle. Ram trucks were heavily incentivized, on prices that were sustantially less than today's prices for virtually identical trucks and interest rates were very low. My thought is the economy right now is kind of like at a standstill, not much happening on either end. Something needs to give.

LOL--Definitely--Some people just can't pull off the brighter colors. They are better off sticking with the more conservative white, black and grey trucks?

I don't know, for a minute there it was 15% off all and 20% off sports. Now it looks like it's 13% on sports only, and the dealers are tightening their belts a little too. Stellantis is jigging with incentives, and they will fight tooth and nail for every penny.

I'm still looking around with cash, but I haven't found anything I consider a good value for my money. A 68K Rubi at 20% off is still not a decent value to me. True, there're others who would pay the full 68, and also get into debt up to their eyeballs to do it. But I think OEM's will run out of that kind of customer at some point, the government can't prop debtors up forever. (Or can they?)

On the one hand clown colors, and on the other various shades of toothpaste. There's something in between that Jeep often neglects.

I was window shopping Gladiators for over a year before a bright color came up in the trim I wanted. The way the car manufacturers are going you will only be able to buy cars in grey scale pretty soon.

I'm sure that all of us with brighter color choices don't appreciate being referred to as clowns.

2 years ago I paid $67K OTD for my 22 JTR, nicely loaded. Then I modded it out. My resale is in the tank. Life goes on.

Who said anything about bright colors, and who referred to you as being a clown? Who said brighter colors = clown colors? One of my Harleys is red and it's my favorite.

So you're one of those people that insults everyone.....then claims not to have said anything wrong.

Everyone has different tastes and likes different things....whether YOU like it or not.

When I bought, I had a choice on the lot between the Red or a Granite Crystal. Both had been sitting from Oct through late Dec 2023. I decided on the Red, had a written deal but not my final go ahead and someone bought it hours before I called. So, I took the Granite Crystal identical except for color. Wished I had gotten the red one personally. The Granite Crystal is really nice, but my wife has a cherokee just about like it... I'm still happy. And, I kind of like that bright yellow color... My 2500 is billet silver. Better than white or black and doesn't show dirt like the Granite Crystal that is a mess one half hour after a car wash. I had a red Renegade and loved it wanted to keep red. Even though they are radar magnets.
