You’d need the trans out of a diesel at least plus likely axles.

'Total Cost' bro.
This is 40k easy!

Motor, Transmission, Dana 60's, transfer case (?), and all the other odds and ends...

It would be easier for me to pick up a 392 Challenger and have the best of both.

(I can't afford a 392 Challenger and the Jeep at the same time)

AMW uses the stock Rubicon transfer case in their builds and have never had one come back broken from what I have read and heard. They also do make the standard 392 without upgrading the axles. It would depend on how heavy your foot is on on obstacles, but you could potentially get away with trussing, RCV's and chromoloy in the rear and try to make it work until you can drop money on the D60's.

Let us live through you.. brother... for democracy.

ok rubicon t cases have been broken just an fyi. its not common but it's happened.

and that rear pinion is what goes bye bye first on the rear axle 392s that ive seen and the flanges. either one of those happens and it's time for a new rear whether you can afford it to be at the time or not.

I mean the t-case can break.. it can break like anything. But they’re strong, if AMW warranties it, is all I’m saying.

I can only repeat here what I tell my wife: "It's just money, I'll make more." Also, you can't have too much power, just plan for the breakage.

I feel like I'm already pushing my luck with 37's on stock axles.

Betting odds on which part breaks first on the D44.

I'm thinking the ring gear lets go before the knuckles.
