Home recovering. No messing with heavy stuff for several weeks. Feel like total crap but thrilled to be alive. Doctor ordered colonoscopy for upcoming weeks after hospital scans showed something inconclusive as well as more blood tests for liver and several PSA things etc. .
Surgeon said he can take out a gall bladder in 25 minutes and mine took 2 1/2 hours. Probably hardened and maybe stuck to liver according to family doctor.
Cats are trying to heal me with healing powers of the purr frequency. Tuvak and Koko keep snuggling against my chest
Happy to hear that. As much as I love to give you a hard time form time to time, you're a solid guy here and we appreciate you.

I am glad you made it home to familiar surroundings. Listen to the Docs.........that snowplow frame doesn't need to be taken off of your truck just yet.

I'm sure many times I deserve it.

Luckily I took that big bar off in February.
Thank goodness our jeeps have power steps!
Made it so much easier getting in and out of her jlu.

Oh, and she got ducked in the hospital parking lot!

Glad to hear you’re home. So much better when you can get out if the hospital and start your recovery in familiar surroundings, not to mention the ability to sleep because no one is constantly popping in to check on you.

Your wife got ducked……..it’s always the women. Haven’t been ducked yet. ?

Bill, glad to see you are back home. Take your time on doing things. The older you get. The longer it takes to heal. Listen to your body on get back at it. You'll have good day, bad day for a while. On the good days, don't over do it.

Did they not do a CT when you went in complaining of belly pain?

Glad you are home. I truly believe it's not possible to fully heal in the sterile hospital environment.

More later but had emergency surgery to remove vary bad " black and gangrene" gall bladder after two trips to er. Tuesday night ambulance ride er said "not your heart" and sent me home. Thursday back to er courtesy of Barbara's purple jeep and this time they kept looking and got me in to an or fairly quickly after scans and ultrasounds and a doc pressing various areas. Full of stones, gangrenous and took over three times normal to remove it.
Wife had gall bladder problems and had to get it removed. It was very painful for her so I’m sorry to read this but I wish you the best sir! Safe fast recovery!
