Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

Only got like 200 miles on mine right now and engine still breaking in. Getting around 19mpg. Am I to expect this to get better as the engine gets broken in?

Bone stock on 33s MT WildPeaks that came with the truck. But loving it so far. Don't have any plans on lift etc as one of the reasons why I went with diesel was for better diesel milege.

I bought mine new in Vegas and drove it back to SoCal and got 29mpg. 19mpg seems a bit low to me. Check your tire pressures, might be worth a mpg here and there.

wild peak AT, Im honestly disappointed in these tires. I read quite often how they are better than the BFG but in my experience the BFG beats them hands down , specifically in road noise. I think I have around 22k on these tires so far.

Id say I lost 1.5-2 mpg going from the stock sport s wheels.

I'll also say when the weather here in New Jersey was down in the single digits I could barely get 20mpg.

Same here..I got the WP mud-terrain on mine as well and it's kinda noisy....the more milege I put on, the more noisy these will become.

I had General Grabber ATs on my now-traded-Ranger and 30k, it was rock solid and even after that much miles, the freeway noise was a lot minimal.

Mostly stock, wildpeak 33" allterrains, bed cover closed 99% of time.

I've had mine just over two weeks. First couple tanks between 21-23 driving in the manner one does when getting a new vehicle and enjoying its full rev range. Settled into daily driving and how calm this engine is while getting to speed. Between 23-24 is where I mainly sit unless going long periods at 55mph which is slightly higher. 4 hour road trip interstate was at 24 around 75mph. Should have her deleted soon and will update then.

I am at like 19 right now between highway/city/towing. I have a 6k TT and a dump trailer (small one 5x10). However, I am also on 37’s with metalcloak fenders and no lift. I do have a softtopper camper shell as well. My worst MPG is definitely with the TT which is a solid 13.5. A bit better than my gas 3500 which gets 8 with the same trailer.

I’m a huge BFG fan. I have KM3 on my LJ and Wild Peak MT on my new gladiator. Tires seem fine but

Typical mileage for mine is 24-25mpg combined driving.

Nice red gauge cluster… jeep was nice enough to omit that on my 2023 :-/

21 JTRD on 37s (Falken AT4ws, 30psi), open bed, and no major weight additions yet, and I'm getting the following...

Around Town: 11-12L/100KM (19-21MPG)
Highway: 8-9L/100KM (26-29MPG)

I live at sea level with no major elevation changes, so that likely helps. Also running an EOC transmission tune that has a noticeable increase in shifting and MPG. I drive pretty calmy, try not to gun it or anything. It's a truck, not a race car.

Working on getting a Stage 1 delete currently, will report back after I've had that for a bit. Stage 2 full delete once it's out of warranty in 2027.

We do not use gallons in Canada, I was just doing the basic conversion since I know the majority of the audience is from the USA. The rest of the world uses liters ?

Right! But a British or imperial gallon is about 20% larger than our little American gallon.
