What I meant was if you loosen the bolts I pointed to it makes it much easier to line up and install the bolts in that you’re showing because your bolts go through the holes in that bracket and if they’re not lined up it can be a real hassle to get the front bolts in.
Ohhhh gotcha. I will definitely try that then. Appreciate the help!

I need money for new parts so that I can continue posting in this thread. Can someone please start me a "Go Fund Me" page. I'm asking nicely. Pretty please with sugar on it.

When I upgraded my bumper I fought for a half hour to get those bolts lined up. When I decided to take a break a realized I could loosen those bracket bolts and the bumper went right on. I then finger tightened the bracket bolts and torqued them down after I torqued the bumper bolts.
Lesson learned.

Ahh just put your back into it. In a twisting jerking motion. You'll be fine. Take a knee and drink water, pop some ranger candy.
Need a small crane to rotate the tires.

Yea I think I was messing with it for about an hour before giving up. Plus I was getting attacked by wasps. Figured it was time to call it quits for the day lol.

Really glad I did this install though. It’s good to know how to remove the bumper because there’s such better access to the steering components with it removed. Plus with the new bumper, NO MORE PLASTIC CLIPS. Thank God!

I think I’m remedial cause this shit took me 4.5 hours and I didn’t even get the last 2 bolts in right. I also accidentally dumped my bash plate LOL.

Anyways, new bumper. Well, new to the JT but not me - it’s been sitting in the box for 6 months 😁

My only complaint is the threading for the fog light bracket. I only installed one of the two screws for the driver side bracket. We’ll see…

Overall I love the new look with this bumper.

Edit: Shit, I need somewhere to mount my front license plate 🤦🏾‍♂️
Cascadia 4x4 Flipster. Fantastic product.

Yup.
as I’m doing upgrades and other work I’m learning how things work with the gladiator and getting more experience working on it.
