Hey Benny just a FYI that was not the right size. I called my dealer during the time you were responding and they said the same bolt - they overnighted it to me but it is way too large. So maybe a misprint in the book who knows. I had a small stainless locknut lying around that happened to fit so all good but just wanted to let you know. I appreciate the quick response!!

It is interesting to note - when I first got my 22 JTR I had a driveline vibration at 60. totally stock. When I got the lift the vibration was more around 65-70. Now that the transferase was removed, and not put in in the same alignment as before - it actually has totally removed the drone. Unrelated but found that interesting

Thank you for the followup and sorry I was off with that one. Hopefully mopar does list within our data at some point.

Can't remember if I did so before, so posting some pics for reference and recalling later on since I was under the JT today.

This is the work of the shop's "Senior" technician. Senior huh? Makes me wonder what the newbies do.

Bolts in backwards. That's nice. Cool to see the hole in the frame. Also cool to see the misalignment.

Oh here's those super weird and awkward driveshaft bolts. Anyone know what this is?

Here the tech missed, rather probably lost, the washer for the carrier bearing bolt.

This is what it should look like.

Not gonna lie, seeing this again makes me want to rage and pay a little visit to them. Can you imagine how flipping pissed they would be if someone treated them like that? Absolutely beyond stupid. Well...it's all recorded here now so if something happens I have proof, and pictures are date stamped as well. Yeah yeah, I know, none of this will negatively affect the performance of the vehicle, likely. But that's not the point. The point is they did not make it right. They screwed up multiple things over and over. And this is just piss poor quality work - especially coming from the 'senior' tech of the shop.

Is the leak fixed?

Can't trust anyone to do quality work these days, especially when working flat rate.

it appears so. So far I have not seen any leaks but haven't checked in a while either. Although the bolts are still backward and there is a 50/50 chance they filled the transmission with the incorrect fluid.

Mine is leaking again!
IMG_3049.jpeg
This is the exact same leak I have, They have replaced the Heater 3 times, They have replaced all the lines twice and something about a Heloc Screw. They returned the truck to me with no transmission fluid. The worst part is that the leak is still there. Very small leak and only leaks under pressure, will not leak when the truck is stopped.

I read about the transfer case seal. Has this been the fix? Will transmission fluid leak through the seal?

At this point I need to help these dealers fix my issue.

I dont think it would even drive without any fluid. Sure hope they replaced the trans if they actually returned it bone dry.

I did not have a leak at the cooler. My leak was the transfer case input shaft seal. The shop also replaced the transmission output shaft because they didnt know that the transmission fluid is a different color (long and unhappy story). Once the seals were replace, I have not yet noticed a leak returning. There are a few here who had the coolers, or whatever that contraption is, replaced a it was bad. I dont know the stories on those though.

Unfortunately it did drive maybe not no trans fluid but I'm assuming low. No new trans but Jeep cares extended my warranty a few more years.

This has been a battle to get this thing fixed. I have been to 3 different dealers and no one has fixed it.

Maybe you can push for a buyback. Depending on your state laws and all.
