Umm not all models! Only manual transmission models. I had to look it up on Google. It would have been nice to explain what that was.

They all identify as manual now.

@JeepCares what has FCA/Stellantis done to address the complaints coming out from people who are losing their vehicle to limp mode after having the 19A recall completed?

The first manual recall was half-assed, the second was quarter-assed, and then the 3rd finally looked promising until user reports started coming out claiming they are having MORE issues after having their clutch replaced, not less?

I don't think I've ever seen something handled so... eighth-assed (?) before.

Is there a class action lawsuit that anyone is aware of? I’ve been putting it mildly ignored by my local dealer Metro Jeep multiple times whenever I ask about the fix. Basically unless my truck is on fire or down on the side of the road, go screw your self buddy response.

When my clutch was beginning to slip I was left with the choice to wait and take the chance of my vehicle catching on fire for a known issue in what amounted to years of "recall incomplete, remedy not yet available" before 19A had a real fix... OR being proactive and putting in a new clutch on my own.

When I finally received my recall notice and the "Jeep Cares" offer of reimbursement, I submitted all the paperwork (receipts, parts, labor, etc) for the clutch I had my mechanic replace and... of course it was denied.

The repair was not completed at a certified Jeep dealership
Go ask a Jeep dealership to install a non-jeep part... see how far that gets you. Unless it's some stupid "black widow" shit then they're all over installing 10k worth of parts and marking the vehicle up 30k.

This policy of only reimbursing repairs for incomplete recalls performed at jeep dealerships is just beyond words.

Well, I got my "official" recall papers today in the mail. I really would like for them to install a heavier clutch but as I read the comments, it doesn't sound like they will entertain such.

Has anyone actually had the standard recall done and if so, does the pedal feel any better/different?

It feels better, but it's still not great. I'm also finding it much easier to smoke the clutch now. I was told at first it was because it was a brand new clutch that needs broken in. I'm almost 5k miles into it now and it still happens. I never had an issue before the recall was done.

I don't think I'll get anything from Jeep for the centerforce clutch I replaced the stock with 2 years ago. I'll still send in the paperwork.

I own a medium size printing company.
You guys that get denied likely have a decent chance at reimbursement from small claims litigation. I've been down that road a couple times with dealers and ime judges tend to be pretty reasonable with their decisions.

Good luck!

I had the recall work completed today. The clutch pedal is even lighter than it was prior. So far it shifts more smoothly. I’ll update as it breaks in.

Had my recall work done a month and a half ago, give or take. Clutch and pedal still feel like the "original". No difference in feel whatsoever. Plus the "Service Transmission" light is annoying as sin when it pops up. When this light comes up, I can feel a hesitation during shifting. Fingers crossed this only gets better....not worse. Time will tell.
