Who is the lift kit Encyclopedia Britannica? I need help making sure I’m getting the most, and right, 💥 for my 💰. I’ve got a ‘21 JT Rubicon with 60k miles and just got a killer deal on some 37” KO2s. My mind is telling me it’s my daily so level it and be happy. But my body, my body is telling me to build it so I can do all of Moab in reverse.

I’m leaning hard towards the 2.5” Clayton overland kit but I value experiential wisdom and fold to peer pressure. There are too many options and all I know is I want my daily to drive nice and grapple some decent trails.

Thanks all!

IMO - you are leaning correctly. Clayton 2.5 overland!! <<thumbsup>>. If you want some longevity - especially as it's an older vehicle with some miles - I'd opt for the steering options as well. you're probably due anyway. But beware, the stock wheels will probably not fit. Plan on replacing them with the correct backspacing / offset.

Below - Clayton 2.5" Overland +with steering replacements. Using the upper end Falcon shocks. 35" tires with Method Beadgrip wheels with a -12 offset.

PS - this setup will easily fit 37's as well.

Clayton or Metalcloak you’ll be happy with. Three years ago I would have advocated for the mopar lift, but for the price it’s gotten to the previously mentioned are probably a better choice on the long run.

If you decide to simply level, AEV makes a good kit that shouldn’t ruin you wallet as much either.

If you want to use the stock rims. You will need spacers. I used spacers for a while before getting mew rims. They are for sell for $150 plus shipping for all 4. They are Synergy 1.75" wheel spacers. With these. you don't have to trim the end of the factory studs for rim to fit.

I went with the Metalcloak 2.5 game changer for my JTRD and could not be happier. The OE wheels would not fit with the outboard shock mounts, so that was part of the budget.

I'm going with a 35", but a 37" will fit without issues.

I could not be happier with the ease of installation and the ride quality. This is our second Metalcloak lift, both are fantastic and their support is amazing.

I have a 2020 JTR on 37 Mickey Thompsons on stock wheels with synergy spacers as my daily driver with a 70 mile round trip commute 3 days a week. I went with Rusty’s 2” advanced lift - I wish I went with Clayton for the $750 difference. I’ve had to replace all the fixed, axle side joints at 40k miles, broke one of the “unbreakable” Delrin races in a front lower control arm flex joint, and I still have a front end clunk that I can’t seem to solve. Replacement parts are cheap [~$100] but it’s a PIA. I also ditched the Rusty’s trackbars for Yeti - much more stout. I went with Bilstein 5100 shocks - much better than factory Fox shocks - my front factory Fox shocks were shot at 40k miles. I have Rusty’s HD aluminum steering and it’s pretty beefy - time will tell.
Good luck!

That’s what I’ve got. The diesel version. No complaints. But I do sometimes wonder if a triangulated 4 link would have been a better option. I get what I believe is that “axle cross talk” I hear about. It happens on the freeway over undulating surfaces.
