It say they wanna move towards electrification but i think dealing with allot of recalls and modern diesel engine getting so much heat from epa and government. I mostly want the diesel for mpg and big tire look im prob going to overland in future when I have money after lift(skyjacker 4.5 /tires(37/12.5)/wheels (17 kmc with good amount of offset for affordableprice) im mainly going to use for daily

I am over 57000 miles on my diesel without any major issues. It took a while to get the recall completed but it is completed. I don't have any plans to get rid of mine soon. I am on a 2.5" lift on 35s and it is my daily for a 70+ miles round trip commute.

Hi I got a question I have jeep gladiator eco diesel been waiting recall for a couple months and have 17000 miles on my rig I was planning on putting 37 and 4.5 lift on it but im hesitant because I dont wanna get rid of my 2 year 50k warranty. Should I sell it or (havent had it for a long time couple months bought used ) keep it ride the warranty till i get recall part?

I recently came very close to a great deal, $15k discount on either a diesel Sport S, or gas Sport S. Same equipment except for the diesel, that came with light duty tow package. But that did msrp for $56, my gas for $52. I was leaning toward the 2023 Diesel, till I heard Jeep was discontinuing the diesel, apparently due to the serious number of recalls and shortage of parts needed to fix? So I’m very pleased with my 2024 Has powered Sport S. With heated seats and steering wheel, power windows and locks, ACC auto cruise control, appearance package, automatic and hard to, with the 12.3” touch screen with UConnect WiFi. I don’t intend on hard off roading, I’m keeping the 245/75-17 HT tires till they wear down half way, then replace them with AT in 255/75-17 at most. With Bilstein 5100’s sooner or later. So my question is, why would Jeep drop a “great engine”?
Sadly dropping the Diesel because they don’t get enough credits from the Feds. So money talks the rebates and credits dealers get to push electric is just business.

I would keep it personally, I have the 21 as well. Only issue I had was a timing chain cover leak which was covered under warranty and HPFP recall. Other than that 28k miles no issues. Average 22-23 with 2.5” lift and 35’s. But it all depends on your needs/use.

I have a 21 JTRD and a 23 Mojave. I got the Mojave for short trips and to keep miles off the diesel because I want to drive it forever. It has the Mopar 2 inch with BFG’s 37’s. If I could only have one, it would be the diesel!
