No, your problem is you're looking at OEM when there are better aftermarket options. There's a whole thread @biodiesel put together on oil and filter options in the 3.0 forum.Buy a diesel they said, but didn’t mention the $150 oil filter and $350 oil change! Used to have a F350 Powerstroke and paid the same for a damn oil change. Does this sound right??

So this will be my first oil change. I’m like at 30% oil life but I’m probably going to go over 0% by the time I can get it changed. How many miles do you get with the OEM oil that the dealership used?Even if you use OEM, should be able to do it for less than $350. My dealer’s service dept constantly has coupons for $170 including all labor and taxes.
Don’t follow the manufacturer’s recommendation. They don’t make more money if your engine is healthy and you keep your tuck for 15 years. Change at most every 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first, especially in a modern diesel. I’m going to start doing amsoil starting my next change, the Penzoil recommended by mopar has been independently tested by multiple members here shows to deteriorate badly after 7,000 miles. So this will be my first oil change. You can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost. If you are looking at OEM you can get the Oil filter from Amazon for $58, Fuel Filter for $50 and even if you go with Amsoil its $107 so all in it costs in with shipping $256.Buy a diesel they said, but didn’t mention the $150 oil filter and $350 oil change! How are you getting amsoil for $107? I just ordered a kit or my next maintenance cycle, always like to have one on hand, and the oil came to $151. Maybe that $10 membership is worth it.You can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost. Sorry, I did get the 1 year membership as it was worth. Even with the membership cost it still saved me money on this order and will save money on future orders. It dropped the price of the quart from $15.49 to $11.89 a quart so even with the membership my total was $148.82 but I also got 10 quarts to have an extra one on hand. How are you getting amsoil for $107? I’m going with Doc’s for the filters, their independent test shows just as good if not better filtering than OEM and I’m not going extended periods, for $115 for a set of fuel, oil, air and cabin filters, hard to beat.
All in, with ultra premium oil I’m into my next maintenance cycle for $267ish. If I went Penzoil like I did the last time, it would be about $60 cheaper and I’d have 3 quarts left over for your next oil change… but I want to see this engine through another 5-10 years of little trouble.
