It almost seems like this is more common on lifted Jeeps or ones that swapped in a different sway bar. Are your sway links long enough since lift was done?….Jack

If you’re referring to these
Jeep Gladiator Cracked rear sway bar mount bracket IMG_7903
Jeep Gladiator Cracked rear sway bar mount bracket IMG_7904

then yes, very common if you use your Jeep. Metalcloak is the best thing you can do for it.

running an antirock is the correct solution for this on a lifted jeep. Pretty much wont happen stock

I also installed the metal cloak reinforcements, before needing them. Check fit to the frame carefully--I put a washer/shim under one mounting bolt on each side to get a better fit.

As posted above, it's a common issue. I put on the Metalcloak reinforcement bracket within 2 months of buying my truck to prevent it from cracking in the first place. It's a quick job, one or two beers, tops.

If you ever add Rockblokz mud flaps: the rear bracket for Rockblokz mud flaps has to be notched to fit around the Metalcloak reinforcement, but it's not difficult to modify it.
