My information is based on the information from one of the Jeep Gladiator engineers.

All Gladiators have the current generation Dana 44 front and rear. However, only the Rubicon, Mojave (not available with the diesel) and High Altitude model plus the Max Tow option (also not available with the diesel) have the wider axles. The Mojave actually has a one off rear axle that is constructed with even thicker tubing.

The center sections are all the same between the Rubicon and non Rubicon models. The only difference is in the tube length and the thickness.
Here's the verification of ur jeep engineer friend, and now I kno. Thanks!

I'm confused, what's your point. That spec sheet says what I said above?

It lists the Dana M210 and M220 wide track axles are included with the Max tow Package which is an option for the gasser but not the diesel and standard on the Mojave (diesel not available with in the Mojave trim), High Altitude and Rubicon?

Yes, I was verifying it based on what I found. And then posting a hard fact sheet for others to view. Sorry I wasn't clearer

There sure seems to be quite a few people that are very sensitive and combative on this site.
I took your response as a confirmation in print as to Steven_B’s comment, nothing more.
It was perfectly clear to me, and thanks for the manufacturers specification sheet.

Hello guys,

even this is an old thread:

I am in Germany and have the only available Gladiator from Jeep: 3.0 EcoDiesel Overland trim.
fromt build sheet with VIN lookup it has the wide axles.
so its even more conflicting to US spec.

M210/M220 - but I am curious, if there is at least a rear locker.
I struggle a bit to find parts as air lockers -> I basically wanted to have Yukon axles and as well Yukon lockers front and rear.....

Not sure what European spec is. In the US the wide M220 axles are only on Rubicon, Mojave and ax Tow Sport-S. The standard M220 is on everything else. The differential internals are all identical - the shafts and obviously axle housings are different to accommodate the width increase.
As for a locker - I'm not sure what your question is. It seems like any M220 rear locker that works with your ratio (3.73? maybe) should work - again, not familiar with what available in Europe but Eaton e lockers and ARB Air lockers are popular.

Also - my opinion but stay away from Yukon. they are having a ton of failures and quality control. I fell victim to this recently. They used to be a good outfit but sold out to Chinese / overseas. That's my Yukon pinion that disintegrated without warning on the highway on Monday.

Good luck!

thanks for replying!
The Gladiator on the bed does not make me happy…

I thought Yukon should be good, as it’s „used“ (maybe more advertised) on lots of YT videos…

my build spec after vin check says this:

SELEC-TRAC FULL TIME 4WD SYSTEM
DANA M210 WIDE FRONT AXLE
3.73 REAR AXLE RATIO
DANA M220 WIDE REAR AXLE
ANTI-SPIN DIFFERENTIAL REAR AXLE
CONVENTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL FRT AXLE

So that means to me
Wide axles and some basic rear diff?

then upgrading to a Eaton E Locker as you recommended should not be a big issue.

then I should check for that, I can order from US, as there is really low offers on German shops, basically you order to them, they order in US…

Cheers
