TUWA Shiprock Pro Install and RTT Question

Greetings Gladiator Team,

I recently (this afternoon) installed the TUWA shiprock pro adjustable rack for t-slot rails. I am looking for compatible roof top tent recommendations as the cross bars for the TUWA rack are pretty beefy! It seems like iKamper is a no-go with their mounting brackets. I found someone who changed some hardware out (longer bolt substitution) to make the Roofnest Condoor 2 compatible. Has anyone else mounted a RTT to the TUWA Shiprock?

Hindsight is 20/20; was there a way to see what was compatible before purchase? And the adjustable features won’t make it work?

i mean, given your situation, i would be tempted to buy what you want, and then see if there’s anyone that you know that could fab something to make it all work.

edit: looks like your pic is missing some bolts; can those side rails be mounted on top too?

Missing bolts?! Where at? I have only see the the side bars used as lower cross bars, but I think they could be used across the top.

The bottoms of the side bars don't seem to be bolted in. You'd likely want to correct that to add reinforcement.

I was the poster child for the Shiprock with rails on a Roll n Lock and finally went with a 23Zero, A2. It mounted easily, and bolted right up with no adapters. Plus it just fits tight in the garage.
