I canceled my reservation on the Traveler not long after launch. Seems like it will be tricky for them because VW Dealers thought they were getting them on their lots and Scout Motors wants to go dealer-less essentially. I may end up with one in the long run still but I will wait until they get the kinks all worked out. Not entirely electric though as they have a gas generator to extend your range on some models, similar to the Ram 1500 Ramcharger.

I like the looks of the Scout Truck. It's on my short list. I'll be ready for something new around the time they start rolling off the line. I like the on-board generator idea.

I love it especailly the bench seat option. If electric rates weren't so high in the northeast I'd buy one. Or if/when I ever get solar.

Yeah I will wait for the initial run and see what bugs pop up before I jump on a grenade. Would be a nice daily and the color/interior options are beautiful

Never buy the first year of anything. This is a totally new build. The original Scout had a 304V8 option. I'll wait for that one.
