where is this incentive coupon?I'm talking about in general, $7k bonus cash-$1k incentive coupon from Jeep... Plus the general discounts being given from dealers. I'm not talking about any specific "deal" I'm asking about this whole general climate.
Does it seem as if they are pushing them hard, or pretty average.
I love the title of this post simply because it's the crux of the issue, which boils down to value. The problem is that everyone defines value differently, so it's hard to place a value on something that has different meanings. Are the deals really deals?
When Jeep was offering 30% off MSRP, we were able to buy a new 2023 Rubicon EcoDiesel for $52,000. That was a good deal at the time, but I still thought it was too much money. The only reason why we bought it was because it was the last of the diesel.I sold my 21, but if I were to build the exact same thing (if they still sold the diesel) it would be nearly $70,000 MSRP vs the $58,000 mine had.
It goes back to value. For some people, spending $60,000 on a Jeep Gladiator isn't a big deal because they have a household income of $250,000 per year. But for folks with a household income of $100,000 per year, it is a big deal.Car deals however, at least as it stands, decide what the vehicle is worth to you and go in willing to pay that number. Don’t compare what someone else got or you’ll never win.
Those prices are still cheaper than what most of us paid for our Rubicons and Mojaves when they were 30% off MSRP back in 2024. Now that MSRPs have dropped, the discounts might not look as good, but the overall prices are still just as good, if not better, than what they were a year ago.Still not quite good enough to make me pull the trigger.
Can't argue that. Those prices aren't much more than I paid for a 21 Gladiator Sport Max Tow.Those prices are still cheaper than what most of us paid for our Rubicons and Mojaves when they were 30% off MSRP back in 2024. Now that MSRPs have dropped, the discounts might not look as good, but the overall prices are still just as good, if not better, than what they were a year ago.
Tell your wife that she is absolutely right which is why you want both the Colorado ZR2 and the Jeep Gladiator. Hopefully she will be very understanding. My struggle is if I want to trade in a 23 Colorado ZR2 which is also a darn nice truck. I'm still debating with myself. Wife thinks I'm an idiot.

And to sweeten the pot, I was on the Jeep website last night and a popup offered a $1K coupon code. So I could get the Mohave for $46,100 or the Rubicon for $42,800. I suspect I may be taking a drive next week.Tell your wife that she is absolutely right which is why you want both the Colorado ZR2 and the Jeep Gladiator.
