I've been looking at 2025 gladiators, and they seem to be pretty aggressive deals however, I have not been tracking them for that long to be sure. Are the deals really as strong as they appear or are they always there?

I'm talking about in general, $7k bonus cash-$1k incentive coupon from Jeep... Plus the general discounts being given from dealers. I'm not talking about any specific "deal" I'm asking about this whole general climate.

Does it seem as if they are pushing them hard, or pretty average.

Jeep has always had discounts… go through all of the threads. Even when there was price gouging from dealers at the height of pandemic scarcity, a few dealers still were happy to do sold orders below invoice price. I sold my 21, but if I were to build the exact same thing (if they still sold the diesel) it would be nearly $70,000 MSRP vs the $58,000 mine had.

What I’m getting is that there are discounts, but inflation and greed has driven the prices up to a point that I don’t think I’d spend my money on one of these now, not to mention interest rates.

If I had to buy a new truck and wanted a gladiator, I’d wait until November, December maybe even January and pick it up when the OEM wants to move old model years AND the dealers are starving too.

Car deals however, at least as it stands, decide what the vehicle is worth to you and go in willing to pay that number. Don’t compare what someone else got or you’ll never win.

For context when I bought my new 24 Mojave X the discount off MSRP was just over 30%. Still too much to pay for what youre getting IMO but nothing really stands out as a tremendous value these days. So unless the true discount you are getting is over 30% off MSRP I dont know that I would call it overly aggressive.

i've had 3 gladiators, 2020 sport S, 2022 sport S, currently in a 2024 willys
the prices that i'm seeing on the 2025 sport models are in line with what i purchased my 2020 back during the pandemic.
no idea on the rubicon, mojave models for a comparison.
i personally think the deals are good for the amount of truck you get, (speaking of sport models)

The dealerships still make money. I think it’s like Black Friday. They put a $100 price tags on a $50 item, and on Black Friday it’s “on sale” for $60.

I have no idea what the retail markup is on vehicles, but they aren’t losing money.

I love the title of this post simply because it's the crux of the issue, which boils down to value. The problem is that everyone defines value differently, so it's hard to place a value on something that has different meanings.

I sold my 21, but if I were to build the exact same thing (if they still sold the diesel) it would be nearly $70,000 MSRP vs the $58,000 mine had.
When Jeep was offering 30% off MSRP, we were able to buy a new 2023 Rubicon EcoDiesel for $52,000. That was a good deal at the time, but I still thought it was too much money. The only reason why we bought it was because it was the last of the diesel.

Car deals however, at least as it stands, decide what the vehicle is worth to you and go in willing to pay that number. Don’t compare what someone else got or you’ll never win.
It goes back to value. For some people, spending $60,000 on a Jeep Gladiator isn't a big deal because they have a household income of $250,000 per year. But for folks with a household income of $100,000 per year, it is a big deal.

Generally speaking, people with more disposable income are more concerned about getting what they want vs finding a good deal. That's partly because they consume their time with productivity vs coupon shopping.

I have wealthy friends, and I have friends who live paycheck to paycheck. My friends who are wealthy never ask me if they are getting a good deal. My friends who live paycheck to paycheck almost always call me up and ask if their soon to be purchase is a good deal. Quite often, I have to walk them through the decision-making process because it's not easy for them.

I've learned that understanding the value of something is a skill. It's innate for some people and a struggle for others.

To add some context, a dealer not far from here has a Mojave I've been eyeing with a sticker of $58,550. It's on their website for $47,600. Subtract a .mil discount and it's $47,100.

A Rubicon for $54,860 on the website for $44,300.

Those prices include the $7K Jeep discount along with additional dealer discounts.

Still not quite good enough to make me pull the trigger.

Those prices are still cheaper than what most of us paid for our Rubicons and Mojaves when they were 30% off MSRP back in 2024. Now that MSRPs have dropped, the discounts might not look as good, but the overall prices are still just as good, if not better, than what they were a year ago.

Can't argue that. Those prices aren't much more than I paid for a 21 Gladiator Sport Max Tow.

My struggle is if I want to trade in a 23 Colorado ZR2 which is also a darn nice truck. I'm still debating with myself. Wife thinks I'm an idiot.

Tell your wife that she is absolutely right which is why you want both the Colorado ZR2 and the Jeep Gladiator. Hopefully she will be very understanding. :fingerscrossed:

And to sweeten the pot, I was on the Jeep website last night and a popup offered a $1K coupon code. So I could get the Mohave for $46,100 or the Rubicon for $42,800. I suspect I may be taking a drive next week.
