JT Mail Truck? National Postal Forum has a Kestrel Gladiator on Display

I’m out here at the National Postal Forum. Kyle from Morgan Olson asked me to show you guys the new Kestrel on the JT platform.

From the B pillar it’s your Gladiator- the Kestrel can be applied to any trim level.

From the B-Pillar back, it’s their set up.

The dealership would drop ship your JT to this company, and they would build this out.

It’s going to be the price of the Jeep, and the target will be under $80k starting.

The version you see above is the postal version. The box is fully customizable as far as door and configuration. There will be multiple configurations. The box can’t be made bigger.
The parts are aluminum so total weight is similar to a stock gladiator.

That is kinda cool. A person (or two) could certainly overland with that setup. Especially if they installed a RTT.

4 door cab would be pretty sweet. I do Technical Rescue as a side gig and that would make a perfect truck for some of the field work we do

Meh. You can get a Unimog for cheaper than what a Jeep fire truck would cost, and it would be much more capable.

The body would likely outlast the engine. The service life of UPS style trucks is upwards of 15 years. Same construction methods and materials.
