It's still goes on in SoCal. My wife was approached twice last summer (face palm). Lucky us!

I admit I don’t get out much. But I guess everything old becomes new again.

The body would likely outlast the engine. The service life of UPS style trucks is upwards of 15 years. Same construction methods and materials.

Have you seen what a mail truck looks like after a roll over or an accident?

That's my point. I wonder how well thst box would hold up and how much it would cost to replace it.

I’m out here at the National Postal Forum. Kyle from Morgan Olson asked me to show you guys the new Kestrel on the JT platform.

From the B pillar it’s your Gladiator- the Kestrel can be applied to any trim level.

From the B-Pillar back, it’s their set up.

The dealership would drop ship your JT to this company, and they would build this out.

It’s going to be the price of the Jeep, and the target will be under $80k starting.

That's my point. I wonder how well thst box would hold up and how much it would cost to replace it.

Ha you need to see my mail lady's mail Jeeps looks like without being rolled, you would think they have run metal masher trail.
But she would like it I'm sure, both of her delivery Jeeps have been though hell, one is a JK the other is a XJ.
I'd like one but not likely going to happen... I might need to check out becoming a mailman too.

As a mail carrier, I would love to have this. The only problem is that a van is provided for me, so there's no way I'd spend that much on a back-up vehicle. Still pretty sweet.

The NGDV is the new Postal Truck. The Kestrel is a proof of concept. It is currently the only one in existence, but the goal is production in the future.

Hacking up completed trucks is inefficient. Supplier Park was built for this! They could take partiel vehicles off the line, do the cab close-out and have a completed Cab/chassis vehicle right there from Toledo. Now the fun part- they could do this with JLs as well. Important part would be to build these at least to maximum type GVW, IE Diesel Gladiator or 4xe JL
