If you don’t care about gas mileage stop reading.

I have 3.6 gasser, automatic, 37s, 4.88 gears. Just drove 500+ miles Dallas to Missouri. Mostly 65 mph, some 70, some 75. It’s mostly flat, some rolling hills, little to no wind.

18.3 mpg for the trip
In town I get 13.

Nicely done. I did about 1200 mile round trip on new 37's with factory 4:10's a couple of weeks ago and didn't have time to marry my new tazer to my Jeep that the dealer set up for 35's settings vs the new 37's, so my speed O and such is still off about 5%. 18 hours of hills of the upper lower Michigan to the UP of Michigan and 6 hours of light duty 4 wheeling of trails. I can't say that it didn't hunt for gears at certain times, but dang, I was impressed. The 17.1 mpg and probably closer to 18mg when you tie in the 5% off for the speedo and such was great. Ran 70+mph on the highway. Trans and oil temps were great. Never felt like I was a loss for power for most scenarios with 3.6L.. 4:56 or 4:88's would obviously help the slight gear hunting at times

It doesn’t hunt for gears with the 4.88s. Seems like stock.

Not bad, really, but it's not all about size (uh, in the case of tires) but weight, rolling resistance and so on. So someone else with "37s" may do even worse.

Still, losing only a couple mpg or so isn't bad.
I'd be pleased enough with that (especially at those speeds)

Wife gets about 16-17 average in her Willys with 3.5” lift, 4.10s and 37” Patagonias. 18 on long trips, 13.5 around town.

In other news, I average 22-23 with 4.5” lift and Toyo 37s on 3.73s but I have the better engine.

A couple weeks ago I drove round trip 240 miles with Jeep empty but for me, fuel and a dozen donuts found along the way. I tried my best to drive for economy but my right foot is too heavy I guess. Approx 50/50 highway at 65 and interstate at 75. I ended up averaging 16.7. Thats with 2.5” lift, 37” Baja boss ATs and factory 4.10s. Also many small hills and lots of wind this part of Oklahoma. New gears have been on my list for a couple of years but haven’t gotten to them yet

I have Rock Trix wheels at 28 lbs and Toyo Open Country R/T Trail 37 x 12.5 at 76 lbs.
So 104 lbs per corner.
The best hwy mpg I got stock was about 22. I’m happy with only 4 mpg loss plus the jeep is so much better off road with the lift and tires.

I’ve heard of bolt-on horsepower but never stick-on.
Ask any hot rodder from the 60s… stickers add power! Racing stripes is at least 15 horsepower!

My question is did you use a programer to set tire size and ratio's?
