One of my current vehicles is a 2017 F-150 regular cab. I am thinking about trading it in for a crew cab pickup with lower mileage, but I am in the early stages of a new business and don’t want to spend the extra money right now to get another F—150. There is a dealer near me with a 2023 Rubicon that has 9k miles on it. If I traded in my F-150, I would owe about 8 grand. Financially it makes sense. I want to hear opinions on what it’s like to go from a full size pickup to a Gladiator. I take the ATVs and SXS to different trails, I pull a Ranger Bass Boat, and I occasionally use my truck to trailer other things. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
The JT is like most have said not a truck for truck things. the 3.6 motor will disappoint you towing 4-5000#. While rated for that, the motor is not a great platform for towing. I have a Diesel, great power but at a cost. Cooling. Oil temps get right hot towing on any kind of good grade. I can tow my Compact tractor on a 2 axle car trailer, But that is just locally.

Inside the F150/JT is like a living room compared to a closet. The 150 wins hands down for space and comfort.

Fuel mileage you will likely get better mileage with the F150 ( Eco Boost?) than the naturally aspirated Pentastar motor.

Yes you can put stuff in the back stock that weight limit is around 500-600# 4 rail road ties in mine has it close to the bump stops with Clayton HD rear springs.

All these people talking about cabin noise... my first mod was speakers, so I haven't noticed any cabin noise!
Just Run a set of Chinesium Extreme Mud Terrain tires till they are past the wear bars. Then switch to AT's and you will think it is as quiet as a Bentley or Mercedes. 😂😂 ask me how I know 😂😂😂
Or drive naked.

Had a 2015 Ram Rebel on 35's, air suspension and a 2017 Ram Bighorn with 2" lift on 35's and 12Klb winch which I traded in on my 2021 Gladiator. Have never looked back. Don't miss the extra cab space or larger bed at all for my uses. Yeah, they towed my boat better then the Gladiator, but its only a few times a year and I can live with that.

Ditto 2500 2015 Ram 6.7 Cummins air ride traded in on Gladiator. Never looking back .

Now give it a soft top :)
 I didn't make it, but I've seen multiple versions lately for some reason. Mostly just Rams with a Jeep detail or two

If it was like that it would practically be useless as a off road machine.
If Jeep produced a full-sized truck, then I suspect it would be similar to the Ram 1500 in size. Jeep hasn't produced a full-sized truck since the 1980s. The full-sized Jeep Gladiator in the 1970s was available in different sizes (1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton)

External dimensions are pretty close to a full sized truck a couple decades ago.
Chevy ZR1 was all the rage and yep about the same size.

Even their full sizeds trucks were narrow. My Dad owned one.

I might be interested in a JT with a wider cab, or a SUV based on the JT.

If Jeep built a modern full-size truck, then I would hope it would be characteristic of the 1970s/1980s trucks. The goal wouldn't be to compete with Ram, but to offer something very different. I would expect it to be more utilitarian.

I know we're all dreaming, but Stellantis would be wise to make Ram compete against Jeep and vice versa. Otherwise, you risk losing sales to Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan, etc.
