I've got a heavy set up but it's not even comparable. The torq is ridiculous and driving it back from Boone I'd push the accelerator on the interstate and it seemed like light work for the 5.7 to blow by people when passing.
What axles do you have?
I'm considering this and want to keep my stock axle housings and just upgrade the shafts to Chromoly.

Has anyone been able to do a Hemi conversion with the manual?
I got a quote years ago from a company whose name i can't remember (definitely not AMW) who said they could do it using the OEM transmission with a new clutch. They quoted the same price they advertised for a 392w/HP75 and for reasons they couldn't explain said my reverse camera AND reverse lights would no longer come on automatically (assuming something to do with the gear position sensor but they didn't clarify) and I'd need to wire reverse lights to an aux switch and manually select the reverse view every time.

In all fairness they already lost me at the high 30s price point for a cheaper engine without a new trans needed, so hearing there are some daily annoyances above and beyond was just shit icing on an overpriced cake at that point.

I've seen at least 1 JL with a 6.4L swap and a manual on that forum. No idea what trans they used but obviously not the stock manual as it doesn't hold up to the 3.6L very well.

This is a performance sweet spot. Have you seen any information if this effects the towing capacity?
I doubt it adds to the towing, there's a lot that goes into that but it will damn sure tow that 7k more efficiently.

With the 4.88s what size tire are you running? I am waiting for Calif to allow these,,, LOL. Looks like the upper radiator hose is pushing against the air intake.
37's. I'll take a look at the hose. 🤔

I’m wondering if stock axles will handle the increased HP and torque. I have 4.88 gears and 37” tires.
That was my first question. I'm not dropping that kind of money and then having to spend $20k in new axles. Rubitrux and AMW says stock axles are fine with this set up. AMW has turn-key vehicles they sell with the 5.7 and stock axles.

Yes, you can get a 392 wrangler with the same axles and a factory warranty. You can also break stock shafts with stock tires and the 3.6L if you beat on it hard enough. With sane throttle use they'll be fine. Hook up a 7k pound trailer and do full throttle launches like you're trying to win the next truck pull event and you'll be upgrading axles real soon.
