Inflation is one thing…..... It truly hurts those who live by the bare minimum. Bare minimum = folks who are homeless or barely not-homeless, or barely making rent, no car, no phone, etc.I mean, the fact that inflation has robbed the dollar of it's value is also true.
But it's very easy to access credit now, in the form of buy now pay later, and foolish people do.
For the rest….. Inflation cuts into their foolish spending routines. It’s too easy to get and use credit (as you mentioned). Too hard to give up that foolish spending and too easy to complain about not having enough to pay for the necessities.
It drives me crazy seeing people in SUV’s, dressed nice, with cell phone in hand…. pull up in line at a food panty to collect free food.
