LMAO. Im dead!.

And since were on the subject (oh so accurate!). The names, 90% of the time are so unoriginal anyways. Like how many damn "Maximus or Spartacus" jeeps are out there? Nobody has ever thought of that.
Mine = It who shall remain nameless

I think a lot of people are just commenting without fully reading everything or seriously missing some of the key points made in here by some and picking out pieces..

Nobody is debating that. I too have negative offset. and prefer a slight bit of poke (although too much poke looks like a skateboard IMO). The comment I personally made about negative offset, is doing that with the intentions of having poke (for any of the aformentioned reasons)..Then to turn right around and ad fender flare extentions, which defeats the whole purpose of having poke n the first place.

So kind of counter-productive. Hence my mentioning. Wasnt the fact of negative offset. Was the fact of having it , just to get rid of it.
Aint no dang fender flare on my ride . But plenty of flung on dirt and rock chips oh yeah !!!

Everything in this photo.
Hey, the shackles aren't that bad...

I personally think clear lids is one of the dumbest things ever.
I'd be interested in one, if the price point were about fifty bucks. The novelty isn't worth their price though.

What I don't like are these weird shitty paper-thin chinese steel bumpers that are all angles and oversized
I don't get the giant ones! I want to find the smallest available, but full width. And without the chinese name carved into it in giant letters.

Only because you can't read what it REALLY says?

I agree that ducks aren't a mod and I wouldn't have them, but when your 6 yr old grand daughter asks if she can ride around with Po-po (what she calls me) to hand out ducks to Jeeps (only the duck kind of Jeeps--her words) then you end up with a few ducks on the dash. She will also give me a new duck whenever I'm over at her house so, again, ducks on the dash but I limit them to about 5 or so.

At my son's school years ago was a woman that had at least $20k in mods on her Wrangler. Everything from enough lights to land a plane, to the angry grill, lift, tires, tube doors, stickers, winches. Looked like she went to an outfitter and said, 'yes please'. I never saw that Jeep dirty. Not. Once.

I would love half doors... Just can't afford them.
For me they are very practical and I would use them in Liu of full doors.
1. I ride doorless (now tube doors) most the time in southern AZ. The wife doesn't feel safe without doors so tube doors are what I can afford. Plus the pups when I go camping.
2. Versatility. Have the uppers in the bed of the truck and when rain comes, boom throw the uppers on and put the freedom panels on.
3. Easier to poke my head out the window when trail riding.
4. Love they way they look

Agreed, on the badges. I have logged like 13 total personally not including the limited Jurassic Park one.

But I only display 10 of the 13. Other 3 I hang from my rear view. Logged them/checked in at the beginning with intentions of completing them (likely not knowing what I was getting into LOL) and in those few instances couldn't fully complete them due to various reasons (mainly knowing my limitations on my moderately built Overland). Unlike some... figured theres no "honor" in a displaying a badge of honor if I didn't fully do it. But since I was on trail and checked in, I just hang those 3.

In my defense, the 3 I hang (trail 2x @ Redbird, trail 3x @ Redbird, Trail 16 @ Windrock), arguably should have never been badge trails considering theyre "nearly" impossible even for way better built Jeeps. In hindsight, 2 of those 3 (2x and 16) ironically have since been removed from the program for reason I just mentioned. I will say the program has cleaned a lot of that up lately, with the removal of some, and additions of others. Gutbuster another nearly impassable one was recent removed. The initial idea behinf the program was for trails to be able to be complete in a stock Rubicon which is clearly not the case over the years.

On this topic - do you think the Jeep badges should only be displayed on the Jeep that did the trail, or is it fair to move them to your next Jeep?

When I sold my JK to a family member to get my Gladiator, I removed all 14 badges from the side window and they have been in a sandwich bag in the closet ever since. All 14 were trails that my JK completed beginning to end (Utah, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina) except for Shnebly Hill which was closed at the peak so we could only go halfway from the Sedona side.

I personally dont see a problem with it. I would probably do the same. Although technically per the program its VIN/vehicle specific. The way I see it, is if I took the time and effort, especially having travelled some distance, the badge is going with me shall I ever move Jeeps. I'm sure there would be some who feel the opposite, but its not that deep to me personally.

and I actually know a few people who have done just that.
