Yea this is my friends thought process too. My buddy has a Gladiator (his second one) and all of his badges (like 40 at this point) are all on it. I think on the camper shell at this point. Not sure. They were all accumulated from three or four different Jeeps.I personally dont see a problem with it. I would probably do the same. Although technically per the program its VIN/vehicle specific. The way I see it, is if I took the time and effort, especially having travelled some distance, the badge is going with me shall I ever move Jeeps. I'm sure there would be some who feel the opposite, but its not that deep to me personally.
and I actually know a few people who have done just that.
To me it's fair to move them, it's the driver who conquers the trail. Technically any Heep can make it through the trails with enough guidance and skill set. I had to travel from my locale to a trail a thousand miles away it's going with me.On this topic - do you think the Jeep badges should only be displayed on the Jeep that did the trail, or is it fair to move them to your next Jeep?
When I sold my JK to a family member to get my Gladiator, I removed all 14 badges from the side window and they have been in a sandwich bag in the closet ever since. All 14 were trails that my JK completed beginning to end (Utah, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina) except for Shnebly Hill which was closed at the peak so we could only go halfway from the Sedona side.
Preach it!What constitutes something being a "build" then? Do I need to forge the steel myself?
I must agree. I don't understand it. Why take out the rake thats meant to minimize squat when you use the truck as a truck? The rake is minimal anyways, and most of the time when a truck is "leveled" I think it looks like it's squatting in the rear, especially if its a Rubi or Mojave because the rear fenders are lower.
Not a "mod", but I think ducks are dumb. I get that it makes people excited and feel like they are part of something, but it's gone too far. One or two ducks, ok, but anyone with 30 ducks across their dash should be ticketed because it creates a hazard and distraction.
Angry grilles. Nuff said.
Excessively wide wheels, too large of diameter wheels, rubber band tires, and excessive lift kits.
Anything chrome. I hate chrome. Blinding bullshit.
Excessive exterior lighting. There is zero reason to have 6+ lights across the windshield, 3 on each cowl mount, 4+ across the bumper, 4 on each side of the bed rack, and 4 more across the back. You're not providing any more usable light than if you only had a couple strategically placed.
20 different dash accessory mounts. I get a phone mount (two if your passenger wants one), and I get maybe having one for a hand mic or maybe a SMALL tablet if you need it for OnX/Gaia etc., but you don't need one for every single piece of electronics you own. You don't need constant access to ALL of them...
I'm sure if I lived in the SE I'd have a long list. For some reason it seems all the really stupid shit comes from there.
I'm picturing a Gladiator done up like my neighbors 70's C10. Chopped, notched frame, parks with the truck on the ground (actually bump stops that leave the rockers REALLY close to the ground.)I want to replace my rear springs and totally go with air bags . Strictly air .
Yeah man. It is what it is. I provides peripheral vision of an open air cockpit. I suffer from SAD so the more sun I can get in the winter months the better. It just wasn't worth it to me to keep for 2.5 months a year. The difference in your picture is that the girl is looking out the window. That's no different than the windshield, right? With the glass taking up the freedom panels, it is around you, like the top being off. It's actually pretty cool.I'm generally asking....
How did you have an "open-air feel" though, if the top is on still (clear or not)? You mean, you simply let additional sunlight inside the cab when its already daylight? So that qualifies as "open-air"? So it's not the actual "feel" of air, breeze, humidity, etc against your body?
So if you opened your mini-blinds in your home on a sunny day, but the window itself is closed, would that be a "open-air"?
Heres your example of an open air feel. And in all reality is proably why you eventually sold it.

Use AI to transform the truck into a Gladiator.I'm picturing a Gladiator done up like my neighbors 70's C10. Chopped, notched frame, parks with the truck on the ground (actually bump stops that leave the rockers REALLY close to the ground.)
I just use a hose for mud. This was just mud off the roadway. In real mud, well....covered. I do think that the flare extensions will help. They were cheap enough to try .
Whatever floats ones boat. I'm sure they'd help. This was just mud off the roadway. In real mud, well....covered. I do think that the flare extensions will help. They were cheap enough to try .
🫤Soooo Gladiators are dressing up like Battlestar Galactica Cylons for Halloween this year?

Your dad has great taste! I bought my crew cab F350 long bed in 1994. It is a pre Power Stroke diesel with a manual and has just over 100,000 miles. I get so many offers. Some of them more than I paid for it 31 years ago but I just can’t part with it.Tasteful goes a long way indeed.
It used to like mischief but it's old and babied now lol. It is red and indeed huge -- crew cab with 8 ft bed. Special ordered in 1995, and one-owner ever since. 460 with a five speed. Dad didn't want the powerstroke because it was costly and he didn't think he'd own it for very long before upgrading. Nope.
