There has been considerable discussion about the Mojave suspension and the effect of adding over 100 pounds to the front. I found that I could cut the added weight of an aftermarket bumper plus winch to about 70 pounds and that was about the max to preserve the suspension quality. i am using the Arcus (which is a stubby) with lighter shackle mounts, and a Harbor Freight 12k winch with synthetic rope. If I had gone with a full width front winch bumper, I would have chosen the Rock Hard aluminum.

I went with an OEM Mopar steel front bumper off of a Rubicon,and Zeon 10 winch w/synthetic line, and installed Mojave X front springs to account for the increased weight. This setup works well for me on my 2021 Mojave.

Following because I want full length, but light as possible, and less protruding than factory.
And I'm a cheapskate on top of it.

Nemesis has an awesome rear bumper, but it is aluminum. It is a good idea to try and shave weight where possible since we tend to ADD several aftermarket features increasing the overall weight of the Gladiator.

For the front, Quadratec has a semi full-size offering protection and still offering the advantage of a stubbie when it comes to angle of approach for the tires.

I drive a 2023 Sport. I too would like a steel or aluminum full width front bumper. My question fro you all: is the added weight really an issue with the suspension? I don't plan on mounting a winch up there but have tagged a fence post lightly and damaged the stupid plastic bumper end.

I like this idea, did you buy the springs from Mopar or someone's take offs? Post number for the springs?

Front purchase steel Rubicon bumper.

The 2021 Jeep Rubicon steel front bumper weighs approximately 75 to 80 pounds.

Stock Mojave rear bumper weights 47pds including steel hitch support (factory tube cross brace red arrow). Bumper i built weights in at 71 pds. (with factory hitch tube cross support removed). i also gained 8" in ground to bumper clearance i cut off rear resonator from exhaust (weighing in at 10pds). and lost a pd or 2 of Sheetmetal trimming off bottom of bed. (stock to trimmed pic). material cost for rear bumper $160.
