The 4.2L I6 that Chevrolet used in the Trailblazer in the mid 2000s was like this. I believe a stub shaft for the front differential had to pass through a hole through the oil pan to get to one of the front tires.The Hurricane 6 would have been a rocket in the GC but I’m good with the numbers this things putting out. The party truck is going to be if it’s reliable. I saw one video of the long block on a stand and it appeared to have a large bore down low thru the block. I think it’s for a power steering rack. Kinda makes me wonder how easy that will be to work on. I did see a metal spin on oil filter on the bottom of the engine though which I personallly love.
So yanking the engine required tearing that apart, too. Or dropping all of it out the bottom in the cradle - like it was built.
