If you listen toward the end of the video you'll hear a somewhat grinding noise. The cop then makes a radio call identifying what you're hearing: agonal breathing. Safe to say the thief shuffled off this mortal coil not long after the video ended.

Arkansas gonna be paying millions again in another pit maneuver lawsuit.
Yeah, we do not know all of the story, but PIT might not have been required when the JT was running in the low 90s MPH on the highway.

If I was the owner of the truck, generator, and other items, I would have rather they just let it run out of gas What MPG does a JT get at +90 MPH? But, there may be more to the story as to why the PIT.

The cage held up, though the freedom panels went flying, so that is good to know.

Running 90 mph risks life and limb of anyone around, not to mention losing control of the vehicle at that speed would have done just as much.

Yes, there's almost always more to the story, no matter who published it...........
But run out of gas? Could have gone an awfully long ways, risking a lot more in say a couple of hours time.
Heck, I bet my Overland would have gotten 15 mpg at 90.

A '24 or newer Jeep, as all the airbags deployed. The rollbar held up nicely, and the top shredded to nothing, as expected with fiberglass. A seatbelt, might have saved that individual, but guessing they didn't fare well with injuries. You can get a 3.6l Jeep to 112mph, not that you would want to. Not sure a pit maneuver was warranted 🤷

After they pit maneuvered and flipped that pregnant lady, while she was pulling over with her blinkers on, Arkansas added a bunch of strict rules on when it's okay to use it. Especially when it comes to trucks and top heavy vehicles.
I don't see anything similar here. Don't want to die, don't steal people's things.

The thief was placing every other person on the road at risk. I lost a good friend to an asshole car thief who lost control, drove up on the sidewalk and ran my buddy over.

The dickhead wasn't even being chased. They have so little regard for the lives of others that I don't give a shit about theirs.

I have been in many pursuits, but never pitted anyone. There is definitely more to this story seeing as the Officer mentioned a firearm in the vehicle. Stay safe everyone and buckle up!
