I have been re-reading the entire thread to wrap my head around it all. I noticed early on you said you may have ordered 2 by mistake. you wouldn't happen to have an extra kit?!!
I found one on alibaba that shows it has a CD in the picture. It's 42 american. I think I'll roll the dice and see what happens.
I currently have a DEF warning up with 70kms left till it wont start. I wish I had done this all sooner. Of course I'm planning a trip to Philly on Sunday and this happens.
It was sold years ago....;)

Try this for your DEF issue,

I just ran a bottle at 45k miles and noticed my soot percentage never went past 50% on a 1000 mile trip.

I believe its a tank heater issue. It got real cold here and I had to start the truck and run to the store so I didn't let anything warm up. I think maybe the heater is crapped out but not sure. I can still smell the DEF fluid out the exhaust so it must still be pumping. I currently have no place warm to test everything myself and I'm 3000kms off warranty. Sa after all this, I may have to spend a couple thousand dollars to get it fixed so I can at least drive it, then spend a few thousand more to delete everything shortly after. Frustrating. I am hoping for maybe a software update, as I have read on the forums of there being an update for this kind of issue, but mine being a 23 I would think that was done already as the update was a few years ago. It goes to the dealer tomorrow. I may just ask them to diagnose it only and let me know.

The green usb things are not data drives, they are dongles, they do not contain installation files.
Good to know. I guess I don't have the installation files then. Mine only came with the green dongle that I paid extra for assuming it was the installation files.

That stuff worked for me. I had an issue with the Soot Level filling up super fast. It would go from 3% to 95% in under 20 miles. I used that plus these as well

Diesel DEF Treatment

DPF CLEAN™ Diesel DPF

Since then I haven't had any issues and my Soot level has stayed under 50% so far.

Soon I may or may not be worrying about soot levels. 🤔

I'd push the dealer bout the emissions warranty. The DEF system should be under the 8yr/80k mile emissions warranty. Not the 3/36 or 5/60 warranties.

DEF additives will not help your SOOT loads.
Soot is captured in the DPF and DEF is injected into the SCR. The SCR is downstream from the DPF.

Well I can tell you from personal experience that before I used it I was going from 3% to 98% Soot levels in under 20 miles with constant regens and after using it I haven't gone over 50% soot level and haven't had to regen in a while.

This is my experience as well.
So it would seem the SCR is measured by the ecu as part of the soot percent calculation. When you dump magic potion into the DEF tank it effects the SCT and that in turn effect soot reporting.

It’s here!!
We recently moved so I have to now find my older laptop to be able to run this thing. Then send it off to EOC or MR Tuning. I don’t have the adaptive cruise so I might opt for the 5 shift on the fly tunes. Anyone using it and like it, or does a person usually just leave it on one tune and go?

The multi map defaults to the stock setting on startup so it pretty much stays there.

So when you restart every single time it goes to stock and you have to go to the DEF fluid page and reselect the tune you want to use? If that’s the case that would get annoying. It’s annoying enough to press the stop start button all the time! 😂

You don’t have to go to that gauge, just with the cruise off lightly press the brake and press the set + button to change maps, twice will get you to the eco, three will get you the next tune. Five presses will get you the hot tune.
