I was just on the Jeep website to look up gas mileage on the Moab 392.

“Not available”

It’s listed for the other Wranglers.

I used to get 20 avg mpg on my 2017 F150 FX4 SuperCrew 5.0

gearing?

For reference, I pulled up my sticker and did a screen shot of my fuel estimates. Pretty much accurate.

I have heard people on U tube mention that the MPG with the 392 is very low. Lower with 37s. It starts to limit the range.

If I could do without a truck bed (or could deal with the lower towing capacity) I'd be thinking long and hard about the Willys 392.

But, I need the bed, and I really want the 'comfort' with 5,000 pounds behind it on occasion - so Gladiator it is 😆
If I had any reasonable place to store a utility trailer, I’d sell my Gladiator for a JLU or low mileage clean WK2. It’s especially frustrating because we have an acre and a 3 car garage, but also have too many cars. I’m down to six and they all are staying. Lol

Fuelly says 13 mpg.

Gearing is 4.56

I really liked the WK2 I drove a few years ago. Almost replaced my JK with one.

But I'm pushing the ole lady to replace her 20 year old van with a Durango when the time comes, which is basically the same thing shaped different.

My lame 3.6 with 37s and 4.88s gets me going just fine. A big V8 would just get me in trouble.

To this point, it's not often I get into my SS Camaro and not touch uh, back road Mexico speeds once on a drive.

It's probably best that my Gladiator is anemic 😂

I'm aware of what fast is, and that Moab 392 ain't...

It is capable of holding gear uphill while pulling a modest load, but like I said, wife doesn't care, so she can drive it at 60 mph in the slow lane at 4000 rpm.

I'll see her when she gets to the campground
