Hi all. New guy here and new gladiator Mojave owner. From what I’ve read here far ive noticed a lot of Mojave owners tend to like to AEV 2im spacer lift. My question is I do have some off road trips planned this year… Redbird, Drummond island, and windrock. My question is does this kit perform decent offf roading? Or should I look elsewhere. I’d like to utilize the fox shocks and I will be running 35. I’ve seen Mojave specific kits from Fabtech and JKS that utilize shock extensions.

main question is AEV the best route if I do plan the wheel the gladiator?

Suspension is a matter of opinion. In my opinion, a spacer lift is a spacer lift, especially one that uses shock extensions in addition to spring spacers (like the AEV 2" Spacer Lift).
That said, if that is all you want, the AEV 2" Spacer Lift does what it does fine. It should drive almost exactly the same, except it does not include anything to restore the caster that was lost lifting 2". But in that price range most lift kits aren't going to do things like address caster. But Daystar does offer a spacer lift with caster correction. But I think it cuts corners elsewhere.
AEV make nicer lift kits that can drive better than stock, but at more then three times that price.
Plenty of other quality brands out there as well.
I would want a lift that includes longer springs, and longer shocks. But you should do what works for you.

I've read nothing but great things regarding the AEV lift for the Mojave. I've even looked at it myself, ultimately deciding 2" is a but much for my needs.

I have also read people using different geometry brackets for sturdier options. I want to say Fabtech was one of the options.

That being said, do a quick search on this forum and you should find people running this set up and love it.

I think the biggest difference is that the shock extensions are purpose-built for the Mojave (the bolts for the front shocks are bigger) so you don't need to drill out anything.

As @Guzzi Moto mentioned, most spacer lifts are pretty much the same.

I think the benefit of the AEV 2" lift is that you are able to keep the Mojave shocks which I think you would want to keep as they are the remote reservoir FOX shocks without having to invest in something similar (but longer) for a lift.

I started with the 2" AEV and it rode identical to stock. It comes with shock extenders so you don't have replace the already upgraded shocks. The only thing I did not like was that it maintained the rake that is pretty standard, and in my opinion accentuated it. I was also running 37" tires, so the 35" will be great.
Because the rake bothered me, I ended up replacing the front with 3.5" front springs, and purchased a 3" shock extender. Now the gladiator sits perfectly level and it fits my preference. I'm still running the rear 2" AEV spacers with zero issues thus far.
Personally, if your only going 2" for a little extra space, then the AEV is the right choice (Rake preference considered). When I tore out the front, I was pleased that the spacer and rubber shock mount (not sure of name) were 1 piece, rather than just adding the spacer.
Don't know if this helps, but it was my experience, so take from it what you will. Good Luck

I'm running the AEV 2in lift on my mojave for the last 25k miles or so. Paired it with the AEV geometry correction brackets and 37in tires. Zero issues, zero complaints, 10/10 would recommend. Its my daily driver, and I've been to windrock and other spots and rode the piss out of it without issue 😁

I installed the AEV lift and 35’s on my brand new MojaveX. To me, and this is probably because of the tires that were on it, and the ones I went to, but it rides better now. I do have the AEV geometry correction brackets I need to install also.

I was going to go with AEV but my OEM springs were too soft to my liking, so I went with the JKS kit. It stiffened it up a bit which I wanted.

I have a 2023 Rubicon Gladiator with the diesel motor in it. I installed the AEV Overland kit which lifted the jeep 2.5 inches. I put 37 inch tires on it and the kit runs soooooo buttery smooth. I love it. It does great off-road and on. I wish I had went with the 3.5 inch lift but other than that, no regrets.

I pieced my Mojave kit together so it sat level; Teraflex 1.5 inch front spacer, 1 inch bump stop extension, Currie front 1.5 inch shock extension, Mopar lift front sway bar links, rear Daystar 3/4 inch spacer, Teraflex 0.5 inch bump stop extension. Had 37's on it. Best driving Jeep I've ever had. Now I'm suffering back in a JLU that will never compare... bad mistake by me lol

The kit isn't cheap but is nice https://www.rockjock4x4.com/product...-mojave/jeep-jt-mojave-suspension-lift?page=1

I run the AEV 2" spacer lift. While only two inches it is probably one of the easiest and least expensive ways to get the long wheel base Gladiator to be more capable in the rocks and mud. Obviously, you can spend a lot more money and get a bigger and better lift. But you paid for those shocks so you might as well make use of them.

I run 37s with the AEV Spacer lift kit and the Jeep rides and handles great. I have been to Windrock, CO and Moab rock climbing, not just gravel or dirt roads, with the lift kit and without; it makes a big difference. Yes the travel is not improved, but that is not as big of an issue as the overall clearance you'll gain. Yes a bigger lift will give you even more clearance, but at what cost.

For me until such time I decide to spend big bucks and go with a bigger purpose built lift with different shocks, I am very very happy with the AEV lift. I probably will never move up to something different. I'm not trying to make it a rock crawler on 40s, while that looks cool and could climb much bigger rocks, it really is not where I see most Gladiators going. Just my 2 cents!!! Oh, BTW I run the MOPAR extended front control arms to help with the caster. They are inexpensive.
Have Fun!

Thanks for all the reply’s this helps a bunch. I like that rockjock kit. The guys at teraflex put together a similar kit for me that landed about the same cost. I put 35s on yesterday and it looks great. I don’t plan on 37s but a little more lift would be ideal as long as it doesn’t look goofy. Went with Baja Boss AT tires. Planning to add a bumper and winch next and we’ll see it that makes the rake worse

I have towed on many occasions a 20 foot flatbed trailer. I use the trailer for dump/trash runs. I would say that the most weight I have towed was about 4500 pounds. The truck pulled the trailer effortlessly. It felt like there was nothing behind it.
