I really love my combat off-road ones. Not the cheapest but the fit and finish are top notch. I also love that they are aluminum under the black finish. All my others have rusted out before.I’m about to do a fender chop and can’t really decide on what liners to get. Most just seem like cosmetic differences and some are as much as $1k. What’s worth getting and what should I avoid?
I don’t think I’ll be running 40’s anytime soon but I’ll definitely keep it in mind if I do. I think Motobilt had a pretty decent sale recently too.The motobilt inner fenders for 40s required trimming the body, but it was worth it to clear the 40s on a 2.5 in lift.

40’s on 2.5” is the bee’s knees. How’s the flex with that setup? (Sorry for the thread jack)The motobilt inner fenders for 40s required trimming the body, but it was worth it to clear the 40s on a 2.5 in lift.
I consider 37's to be about right as 40's just dont bear out cost wise versus mileage. I suppose if I had 2 gladiators and yet another truck for work purposes then I would put 40's on 1 37's on another and keep the work truck stock .40’s on 2.5” is the bee’s knees. When I looked at 38's there wasn't that many AT's in 38's .I’m aiming for 38” as my end wheel diameter. I consider that best of both worlds. Flex and capability while still being a viable road runner.
These 40s measure 39.1" mounted on the jeep at 27psi which is pretty nice for ground clearance.I’m aiming for 38” as my end wheel diameter. I consider that best of both worlds. Flex and capability while still being a viable road runner.
Or you could keep 1 Jt on 40's with a spare set of 37's (or 38's) for commuting and towing. Then 1 work truck for work stuff. I plan on doing that eventually, but the mileage hit wasn't as bad with the diesel engine. I still see 20+ mpg on the hwy.I consider 37's to be about right as 40's just dont bear out cost wise versus mileage. I like their normal inner fenders as well. The bolts they included are 3/4" but they were too long IMHO. I cut them down with my grinder so they didn't rub.I don’t think I’ll be running 40’s anytime soon but I’ll definitely keep it in mind if I do. I think Motobilt had a pretty decent sale recently too.
I have not managed to hit up an RTI ramp yet, but the clearance with the inner fenders and kbd plastic fenders might allow me to take half an inch or more off my front and rear bump stops.40’s on 2.5” is the bee’s knees. How’s the flex with that setup? (Sorry for the thread jack)
