Idk guys, sounds like Gladiator owners are older crowds 😂

Maybe I'm a freak of nature, I never had issues driving a manual in stop-and-go traffic, I lived in Orlando, like near Universal's main entrance. It's not much better than any other major city, not even much better than LA traffic.
- I also was riding a motorcycle vs driving a car/truck after being crippled by an ignorant driver on their phone in Phoenix a few years ago. And I mean CRIPPLED (broken L4 vertebrae, both scapulas, collarbone in 2 places and snapped all ligaments holding it down on right side, 3 ribs, right fibula, a neck injury, and have a TBI), but I found it easier and more comfortable to ride my 450 enduro than sit in an upright seat with a seatbelt for extended periods as it allowed me to move around and force myself to have good posture. The doctors all told me "you'll likely never walk right, be able to run or stand for extended periods, ride motorcycles or do heavy lifting or manual labor" and they couldn't have been more wrong. Oh and I refused all operations/surgeries.

So yeah, maybe I'm built different? I sure hope no one else endures what that wreck put me through.

Damn man, glad you recovered and are able to get around ok.
This gives me hope. Back at the end of March I was on my adventure bike and dumped it on a corner. My right foot got caught and twisted around and broke my ankle but good. I had to have a plate and some screws to get things back to almost normal.
I sit here in recovery very frustrated because I can’t recover fast enough to get on with life.
I am able to walk on it and drive a little now so I know I will be better soon enough.

I cannot break 15 mpg with my bone stock Mojave. I'm a little bummed at the mileage as my old JTRD would routinely get 23-25 mpg.

Looks like you punctured a cover too. Glad you're recovering and they're at least trying to treat you. The hospital I was taken to wouldn't even provide a cast, splints, or even referrals for follow ups or medical devices/medication. Oh and they discharged me after 4 (FOUR) days, knowing I couldn't stand, walk, etc.

Stay away from AZ. That state is more retarded than CA. At least CA gives a damn about your health.

THAT sir, is why having USABLE TORQUE is more important than the BS advertised "xxx HP". And why turbos and PHEVs have been taking over, raises VE and makes more USABLE TORQUE.

My Gladiator is the only Jeep I own that gets 19 mpg.
My 72 Commando V8 usually gets between 10-15 mpg
My 2 JKURs get between 15-17 mpg
My 92 YJ I6 get about 15 mpg
My 78 CJ7 V8 never got better than 10 mpg

I honestly don't remember any of the many Jeeps that I have owned getting anywhere near the consistent mileage that I get with the Gladiator.

I’ve heard if you post pics of the ‘72 Commando it’ll get better gas mileage. :like:

Retired. Finally !!
While I still like driving a stick (and now it's almost a bragging point when you say you can drive a stick shift, we're more rare than an honest politician). But do not like driving a stick in heavy traffic.

My motorcycle is, of course, a manual, with an actual reverse gear !! With this tank, there's no other way to back it up. The only things on it that are plastic are the turn signals and the mirror backs. Oh, and the sidecar wheel is driven, also; just flick a separate lever on the bike with your heel...reverse. Freaks people out when you suddenly back up with speed.....

My truck regulary get 17-19 if it is open driving short tripping and climbing about 10.5-12.5 . If you bought it for great mileage you bought for wrong reason.

I'm getting around 15.5-16. I agree, you don't buy jeeps to get great mileage and it does get better mileage than my dodge ram. But it would be nice to be even close to the rated mileage on the sticker.

Mine is a stock 2025 Mohave X with the 3.6. It was rated 17 city and 22 highway. 19 combined. I drive approximately 80% highway 20% city.

Thank you!! Those trucks are absolutely gorgeous!!! One of these days I’ll get myself into some old steel for trail rides.

Anyone take the time to figured out their real world MPG? I did it the first time last week on my Gladiator and I averaged 17.68mpg vs the 16 mpg my display said. I plan on doing it for the next couple fill ups to see what that average is. I've on this on other vehicles in the past and it was closer.
