I have a 2025 and plan on getting a semi swap when the engine breaks. It looks as though on AMW website the 5.7 swap has increased 2 grand this year. I am curious if I should wait the 3 or 4 years or do it now if it's going to be 10 more thousand. Hope this makes sense. It's really a question for someone who swapped 4 or 5 years ago. Trying to see how much average it increases each year.

While I believe your logic on beating the price increase is sound, I took a slightly different approach when I purchased my 2024 Sport S new. The sticker on my truck was $52K, which was excessive to me. I let it sit for an entire year at the dealership and finally purchased it in May of 2025 for $37K.
Sometimes holding on to your cash can pay off, but on some things you could miss out. It all depends on what you want and what you're willing to pay.

A V8 swap is not a decision made on logic. It’s not an economical decision either. It’s emotional, based on passion for the platform. Make the decision when you have the cash and feel that its the right time.

I ”want” a Hemi swap. It would in no way increase the actual utility of my Gladiator (for what I use it for) and would likely be inviting problems down the road. I am sure the year I decide to do it, the next year FCA will release a V8 Gladiator and I will have just burned 30K.

Well you’re in luck! I will hopefully be picking mine up in a couple weeks fro AMW, so the V8 Gladiator is a Sure Thing now!

After driving my 2021 Mojave out west at higher altitudes ranging from 6000-9000 ft, and while towing trailers up grades in high heat, like the I-17 north from Phoenix to Flagstaff in the summer heat, I have convinced myself that the Gladiator Mojave should have had a viable, higher torque option from the factory (eco diesel could have worked but for the HPFP debacle and also not available in the Mojave).

I like the utility of the Gladiator, but I also want more torque and HP. I have had a couple of supercharged Landcruisers and that was very nice but I want to run on regular gas so SC and Turbo's are both out. I checked in with Exodus (very nice people) while visiting friends in Austin, and then I talked with AMW. Ultimately I decided to pull the trigger on a V8 swap with AMW. I sent them the down deposit, and I am now waiting for my turn in the shop, perhaps coming up in the next 5-8 weeks.

Are you doing the 392 or the 5.7? My understanding (could be wrong) is the 392 requires hi-test but the 5.7 runs on regular. Regardless of which one, congrats on getting a motor with the correct number of cylinders that should have come from the factory. ;)

I’d probably wait if the plan is specifically to swap when the engine finally gives up. Prices can move around, but a $2K increase in one year doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be another $2K every year. AMW’s current installed 5.7 package is around $34K, and forum pricing from a couple years ago was already climbing into the $30K range.
Unless you’re worried about AMW discontinuing the 5.7 or parts becoming harder to source, I’d keep driving the 2025 and see where pricing is when you actually need it.
