Not directing this at any one person, but just so everybody is clear...you do know that automakers use "mules" to test powertrains, right? And lots of times the mules look nothing at all like the production vehicle, right? Clearly this photo is just a Ranger with the body chopped down to fit the frame and powertrain they are doing test calibration on.
There are a lot of people in the world that simply don't understand these details of the auto industry.

Ford, GM, FCA, and Toyota are all my customers. I just get giddy when I see get to see some nugget on their vehicle development. I got to see the new Corvette, in the flesh, a couple of weeks ago. It was still disguised but damn it was beautiful.

I don't know what people are smoking. I honestly think it's the best looking truck on the market. When I think of badass get work done, I immediately think military vehicle like the Warthog.

What looks the closest? Gladiator. Oh and BTW, I did not serve in the military so I'm unbiased to the military aspect of my opinion.
To me the Gladiator looks like a classic truck got together with a Wrangler and made the Gladiator. I like the look of old boxy trucks, which the Gladiator nails. My friend who doesn't like classic trucks thinks the Gladiator looks awful and likes his Colorado more, which I think is an ugly truck.

The GMC Denali version looks better IMO, but it's $50K with Diesel but it's a "burb" truck and no where near as capable as a JT

Colorado looks like everything else, cookie cutter. I want some flare! And I agree with you an old boxy truck with flat fenders smashed into a wrangler and whammy, Gladiator!

I am for the Gladiator for the time being and I am a Ford, Chevy, Ram, Toyota, Jaguar and Land Rover...etc owner of vehicles. And for me I came to closure yesterday to get the Gladiator after driving her for a second time. I traded my prized possession a 2018 Toyota TRD Pro Calvary Blue. And I made my decision based on I feel the Gladiator will retain its value better than most cars, trucks and suvs. If you buy the right vehicle you will not take a huge loss. And my 4Runner was a 48k vehicle and got 42k trade. I just recently as well traded my Ford Raptor truck which I paid 70k and got 60k for her. Summing it up I feel strongly you can drive your Gladiator and if you take care of her and not high mileage she will be valuable to sell or trade 2-3 years from now. So OP enjoy the Gladiator for 2-3 years and by that tone the Bronco will be in the market and if it’s truly more appealing then trade your Gladiator in and or sell her. I think the used market for Gladiators will not be very big over the next 2-3 years. Just like Ford Raptors and Toyota TRD Pro Trucks and 4Runners. Many Toyota dealers take TRD pros back in and retail them close to their original MSRP.
And here’s my new Firecracker Red Rubicon Gladiator.

It says a lot that you bought the Gladiator after previous experiences with “premium” versions from the other manufacturers. Not only that but you obviously really appreciated your TRD. Nice color too!

Do this, try to notice a Colorado or Taco or Ranger; heck finding a new Ranger in the wild is truly a “Where’s Waldo” puzzle, but try to notice the unnoticeable. It’s actually harder than you might think since those other trucks are as pedestrian or boring as a Corolla sedan.

You and I roll around the same town, and I completely agree. The only Colorado/Tacos I see are ZR2 and really built TRD's. I've seen several Rangers around town and they blend in completely with all other traffic.

Yes sir, we do!

There is a red ZR2 that I’ve seen that looks great, but the rest have utility racks or lawn services Advertsing on the doors. I did notice one Ranger recently...at the Denver Auto show. Even the guy working the Ford booth asked what we thought of the Gladiator, which we thought was interesting.

Yes...amusing...and this sure doesn’t look like the pictures you have but good luck trolling the forums...
I found an un-camouflaged picture of the next “Bronco”
