Well, this is more like what have I done since picking up the Jeep on 8/3:
Grayed out silver trim on overland
Tinted orange side markers
DIY Cquartz ceramic coat

Just need some aggressive A/T badly

Hey Hey JT Peeps!
didn’t quite go all out yet!
I have a SPORT S - so far I upgraded:
  • Rubicon Tires & Wheels
  • Overland Front Bumper
  • Custom Gladiator Hood & Cab decals
  • 13” Stubby Antenna
Getting Mopar Hood Cowl Mounting Brackets
(I already have Rugged Ridge 4” LED off-road lights)
Where did you get the Custom Gladiator Hood graphics? They look good.

Very Nice = the silver trim on the Overland doesn't do anything for me either. How did you change the color?

For $160, I like the blacked out look and they are pretty damn bright (9600 lumens). You can go brighter with something like Rigid but I’m not looking to see through mountains and you’ll definitely spend more (there’s a 7500 lumen for $448!).

I LOVE the Auxiliary Switch setup too! Located the tan wire (one of the 40 gauge bigger wires) tucked in the bundle next to battery and for the stock illuminated 3-wire harness that came with light bar, I clipped the harness off to leave the 3 wires. I capped off the blue (ignition), grounded the black to the stock empty ground post that’s there JUST for these types of accessory installs (which I used as the ground for the main ground wire coming from the main harness), and then connected the hot wire (white) to the tan wire that connects right to AUX 1 button. I then changed the setting through the head unit to run power directly from the battery and miraculously it all works!

The biggest difference I can notice is how much higher the tree is illuminated across the street (see pics below) when everything is on but I’ll play with it some more when it cools off...it’s like 90 with 75% humidity!

Pictured in order...

1. Light bar only

2. LEDs, headlights and fog lights on

3. Light bar, LEDs, headlights, and fog lights on

4. Face melter

that last pic looks MEANNNNNNNN. Great work.

its a small reason, but i like the red line matching the other red accents of your Rubicon. Plus i'm putting a flag grille cover on my JT.

I read somebody's opinion that all Jeeps need a flag on them. I agree.

Thanks for being a fire fighter and keeping people safe!
Thank you Brother, it was my pleasure! I think you need a Plywood flag though!

Updated my short list, which is getting longer every week!

- Mopar Jeep Mats
- Rugged Rigid Door Sills
- 8.4 Radio Glass Protection
- Mopar Wheel Locks
- Rydonair 13” Antenna
- Jeep Drink Coasters
- Roll bar Coat Hooks
- SoundSkin soundproof/deadener under floor carpet
- Small Yeti/Squatch decal on the front windshield
- Mirrortap and Radar Detector Mount
- Added Console Caddy
- Fluid Film Rust Protection on the frame/under carriage
- Tinted front windows to match the rear windows.
- Added Hushmat and Polyfill to the Soundbar & Dash speaker areas
- Bought two new Jeep Towels for those hot top off days
- ESS Smartstopstart wiring harness Installed
- Sound proofed all doors with SoundSkin
- Spiderweb Bikini Sunshade
Installed a Spiderweb Bikini Sunshade today. It was actually very simple to do. I did unscrew the 4 bolts holding the windshield to gain access as others have recommended. That made it very easy to hook the 4 front shade clips to the frame. I didn’t remove the windshield wipers and just had my wife hold the windshield about a foot off the frame while I hooked the clips. The sides and back connections were easy to attach with the pull strap provided in the kit. After everything was tight, screwed the 4 windshield bolts back and all done. Total installation took about 30 minutes and probably would only take 15 minutes the next time, now that I know what I’m doing. I then took the Gladiator out for a test ride. No flapping, nice shade from the sun and happy with this sun shade overall. Also, I’m 6’2” tall and it doesn’t touch my head (5-6 times inch clearance) as it goes over the bar top. I was able to get my freedom panels back in with the shade installed with no problems. It just takes a little more finagling and adjusting than before, but can be done.

Here are some pictures to help if you decide to install a spiderweb shade. If I could do it over, I would have bought the full length shade instead of the Bikini front half only. Regardless, I highly recommend this company and fit for the Gladiator. Quality is good and has a 5 year warranty, also made in the USA!

Note: I tried Bestop Targa Bikini and sent it back. Seems the Bestop shade would have to be removed before reinstalling the freedom panels each time and that was not for me.

I had the dealer install 37” Nittto Ridge Grapplers, Mopar 2” Lift and Warn Zeon 10s winch. Not pictured but I’ve added Factor 55 Flatlink, Maximus 3 Filler plates, 67 Design phone, go pro and iPad mount. Factor 55 hitchlink with Warn Shackle. One of my favorite adds is the Bestop Sunrider top.
