New guy here. Another data point - I just ordered a Rubicon yesterday around noon.

So I wanted to do another test drive in a Rubicon while I wait for mine. Not a single one on the San Diego area dealer lots. Every dealer had 10+ Sports and Overlands sitting there. Don’t see a reason to discount Rubis if they can’t hold on to them.Maybe this means that my Sport will now get built sooner instead of later. Same thing for Overland and Sport S buyers. Sorry for Rubicon buyers. But maybe dealerships with Rubicons on their lots will have to discount them if they want people to buy them since they can’t get them for a while. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Oh and FYI if my take on this is correct then you as a customer can still order your Rubicon but dealerships can not order stock Rubicons to park on their lots to sell.
I counted 81 Gladiators on the Lake Keowee Dealership lot in Seneca, SC today.
Did I say 81?
Yes I did, 81 Gladiators sitting.
This is one of the dealership loops I tried to work with back in June to buy. But NOOO, they wanted $5-10k over MSRP. So I bought mine somewhere else below MSRP. Now they have 81 on the lot, most in the overflow area. Estimated over 4 million inventory dollars sitting.

Try Bob Baker in Carlsbad, they have several Rubicons on the lot. I just picked up my Sting Grey JTR on Monday. So I wanted to do another test drive in a Rubicon while I wait for mine. I looked a few weeks ago and both Carlsbad and Nasty City had a few, but I'm not driving an hour just to take one for a spin (mine has been on order for 5 months now). Mission Valley, Kearney Mesa, Escondido, Poway and La Mesa had zero Rubi's on their lots last weekend, but many Sports/Overlands.Try Bob Baker in Carlsbad, they have several Rubicons on the lot. Holy wow!I think you can all thank greedy dealerships like this one for this situation. Jeep should have a serious chat with managers from such greedy greedy dealerships. They have a large part of the blame for this. Right @JeepCares ?
Make sure he was doing it under the sold order tab they are not doing stock orders right now...I think my dealer is full of shit. He showed me on his computer with the program open. I don’t know what to believe. Thanks for the reply
