installed this GEM. Mopar should sell a pre-cut plastic 2x4 for plywood hauling and one of these. it was rickedy AF without any weight on it, but there's not much that can happen to the boards on it once properly tied down.

This thing made returning extra lumber so easy. it'll go up to 48.75" wide. And get this, at the highest height, its perfectly level with the middle tailgate position.

Wired up a BadgeGlow aux wiring block. Basically wire up the pigtails in the engine bay to this and wire in your lights and other stuff to the block with the block serving as the ground. I like that it makes identifying which switch goes to which wire easily. Still need to wrap up the connections with electrical tape and put some wire loom around the whole bundle but I wanted to show how they wired up.

Got my JCR sliders in and installed today. Now to save my pennies for lift and tires....

That is the exact bumper and steps I was thinking about going with on a Hydro Blue Rubicon. How do you like the steps and bumper?

I like the way they look together. Using the slider as a step is kind of awkward because the top of step is pretty much the same plane at the bottom of the door. The bumper will drop your front end about 1 1/4 inches from a stock plastic. I’m trying to outfit it the way I want it and then decide on a lift once o get done adding the weight.

*Mine is a Sport S, I wouldn't think a Rubi would drop as much?

Thanks for the information.

I was wondering if the weight would cause any drop to the front.

How wide is the step? I figured it may not be the best step, but liked that it had that capability without having a dropped step (smooth slide rail and strong).

i'll show you what Gladys did TO my trailer. Apparently she doesn't appreciate towing such an ugly thing.

This is why you shouldn't use a cheap Harbor Freight trailer as the core of your Overland trailer. My trailer is from Lowes 10 years ago; however, its still probably cheaply made.

This makes me want to start a thread on ghetto trailers. This one is top notch:CWL:

I just doubled the length of my 10 foot trailer so I could hall my new gutters home. Of course I used an old pallet I had laying around the yard:like:

Weld er back up and get back to work:CWL:

Deleted my resonator. Marginally louder...not really sure what exactly its function is? I finished late so I'll have better pics tomorrow. And maybe a video

6 1/2 inches from the body seam.
