Under invoice is great if there are no "hidden tricks" but you'll have to pay a dealer fee on top of it I am sure.
The only way to beat that is to wait for some to pop up used.

Don't feel bad they do the same in Alabama. The salesman asked me where I was going to get 6-7% off because he wanted to get one too. I told him about the gladiator forums ect dought he took the time to come look us up...so uninformed.
That’s ultimately why I drove to Florida. Beat Alabama pricing but 1k

Comparing under invoice pricing only pertains to vehicles that you are buying outright without a trade. If you are trading in something then that under invoice number goes out the door because they will make their money back in your trade.

The dealership I bought my in stock Rubicon off of in May, when deals were almost non-existent, gave me 1% under invoice and wouldn't budge. They actually told me they were accepting affiliate pricing, I thought they were using this to get me in the door. I had a vehicle to trade and I knew what my trade was worth, their original offer on my trade was about what I thought my trade in was worth, which was surprising. Since they wouldn't give me more than 1% off of invoice, I worked them over on my trade and got 4500.00 more dollars for the trade in. So when it was all said and done in my eyes I got my Gladiator for 8.75% under invoice because I got them to give me more on my trade than I was expecting. I leased my Gladiator so I used some of my equity for the upfront fees and paid down the lease some and walked out of the dealership with a 3500.00 check. So they either discounted the Gladiator more, gave me way over what my trade in was worth or a combination of both, didn't matter to me.

I agree with the previous post, that the only “clean” way to know what % under invoice you are getting is a cash deal with no trade. If you got more for your trade, you most likely could have gotten even more for your vehicle if you had sold it on your own this inflating the percentage even more.

I’m curious though are you guys saying it’s 7% below invoice including all fees? For example my Launch Edition MSRP is $62,310, employee pricing is $55,660 which is 5% under invoice. Only extra is a $220 doc fee. It’s a cash deal no trade, works out to not quite 11% off MSRP. I’m happy for everyone getting even greater deals, just wondering if we are comparing apples to apples?

Yes.
When we’re giving numbers and percentages the only thing added to that is any dealer doc fee plus tax, title and license. Which are state and dealer dependent.

I was laughed at by a dealer here in the greater Minneapolis area for the mere suggestion that folks are getting 5% below invoice, she said it was unlikely since it is such a new vehicle
Fury motors, had 3 launches, sold all 5% below invoice, including one to an employee of Park Jeep

Best I could do in the Austin, Texas area was paying MSRP for a Sport S with free Rubicon 33's. I felt like I won :)...first time in over 80 buys (yes I have a problem) that i ever paid sticker. But I do love my Gladiator and would do it again!
Man, should have searched around this forum. There are a ton of guys that went through mak haik in Georgetown, i believe, and got about 5% under invoice.

Took a deal for 5% off invoice about an hour from me. Mike Clinnin in Buford, Georgia offered a slightly better price 6% off if you get Tread Lightly (which is $100 and you’d be a member for 30 days before the truck arrives), but it ended up only being $300 less (dealer fees). Factor in gas cost, flight, and 9 hours of driving I figured I was doing well staying semi-local.

Good man. Same dealer for me and hope to pick up in a few weeks. Check to see if you work for an affiliate company. You’d get the same deal at no cost. The list of employers is massive.

Doesn’t seem to be many Gladiators available in the Houston metro. I am just going to wait it out a bit. Let them get production ramped up. Then we should be able to find those deals around here. I am leaning towards waiting for diesel availability.

I'm about 3% under invoice at the moment on a special order with Brian at Helfman DCJR in Katy. I've joined tread lightly for the affiliate discount (available to me on 20 Sept), told Brian about it and he said we can work that in too. So I'll probably end up between 4-5% under invoice when all is said and done. Can't speak to an off-the-lot gladiator tho.

I have affiliate through work. That is the way I went for both my Wrangler and my Ram. Got my Ram in Katy also. Git to watch them at final paperwork, they tried to sneak in a $375 2 year service plan. Tried to tell me they put that on all the vehicles they sell. Told why would I buy that when the Ram came with Ram Care, which covers the oil changes for 2 years.

Yeah, He already printed me a price breakdown from earlier discussions and there was none of that. I think like $150 document fee as well as standard TT&L. He's a pretty straight shooter, not a lot of BS. Now, the penny pinchers in the back room may be a different story.

Yup, wasn’t the Salesman. It is back in Finance where they pull that. I originally walked because they would not get me the interest rate I wanted. They called me halfway home and suddenly they were able to get me the rate I wanted!
