Last I heard, 2-door Wrangler sales had fallen to below 20% of total sales. People are starting to wonder how long Jeep will keep it around. I mean, what is FCA's threshold for saying it's not worth it anymore? 10%? 5%?Anybody have numbers of sold 4door wranglers vs 2door wranglers?
Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, etc. ALL outsell the current Gladiator. There's no way that a business case can be made for a 2-door Gladiator. We are fortunate that Jeep was able to get the 4-door model approved for production.I already have a 4 door Wrangler, also have a Grand Cherokee , a GMC 2500HD and '94 Chevy S10 ZR2. Saying there is no business case for the J6 is like saying there is no business case for a corvette, camaro, mustang, etc. Any chance to sell more engines, transmissions, frames, drivelines, bodies, interiors, etc. by piggy backing off of existing products seems to be enough of a business case to me not to mention the public outcry to produce it.
