Nice work. Any hints on how you did it? Did you fab the fork mounts? Or was everything store bought? I’m guessing it was fab’d. Thanks a lot.

A regular fork holder from local bicycle shop. Drilled out holes to fit 3/16 bolts. The steel inserts are from toyota rail system. Bolts from Lowes.

Removed the end caps from my steel Mopar bumper and added my Rigid lights to the front bumper for my upcoming off road (“overlanding”) trip to Death Valley...

I've been spending days and many hours getting the Gladiator ready for the Death Valley trip. Here's a sneak peak at one of my projects - it's not done yet...

Installed Oculus Bi-LED and replaced stock fog lamps-

Oculus Install- plenty of good videos online. Straight forward install but ran into a DRL issue. Ran the wiring harness to fuse panel and ground. Could not get Halo to light up. Redid all crimps and connections... still nothing. Called Oculus tech support .... not helpful ... " rewire everything" "I did" ... "do it again". Decided to pull light back off and look at DRL wiring plug. It went together easily and didn't think it was an issue but unplugged, turned it 180 and plugged it back in ... and it worked. Did same to drivers side and now both working. My suggestion if you install. Run harness, plug and check before installing headlight.

Fog Lamps- got the idea from here. Wanted all lights white LED in front. Easy install and super bright. Looking forward to checking them out tonight.

Did it tighten the steering up?
Yes, a bit, I think, given that I only have driven it about 6 miles.

It may be about 10% tighter. But, it was already mostly tightened up and the ride improved by previously adding the following:

Rock Krawler JT 3” Pro-X “No Limits” Stage 1 Lift:
Triple rate front coil springs
Quad rate rear coil springs
2.25 RRD Spec shocks
Front and rear high-clearance adjustable lower control arms
Front and rear adjustable upper control arms
Spring correction seats
Adjustable front track bar
“No Limits” front sway bar links
Pro-X bolt-in rear axle cradle
Extended rear sway bar links
http://rockkrawler.com/jt-3-0-inch-pro-x-no-limits-system-stage-1/ (“The triangulated 4 link rear assembly maintains the rear axle perfectly centered; allows for removal of the rear track bar, eliminates rear suspension bind, and the cross talk of the front and rear track bar arrangement greatly smoothing the highway ride.”)

Fox Racing Shox 985-24-173 2.0 Performance Series IFP Steering Stabilizer:
https://www.quadratec.com/p/fox-racing-shox/20-performance-series-ifp-steering-stabilizer-wrangler-jl

So, the Rock Krawler fully-adjustable lift and the Fox SS, greatly improved the ride and steering. The Synergy components seem to have slightly tightened it up just a bit more. Unlike my previously-stock JTR, I can take my hands off the wheel for about 30 seconds on a straightaway and the thing just tracks straight.

Note that I never had the loose steering issue. But, I recall driving it back 700 miles from where I bought it, and it would wander quite a bit on the highway. No more. I wish it were not so expensive to do all this, but, IMO, it's worth it. Also, the Rock Krawler and Synergy arms, rod, links, etc. … are so much heavier and, obviously, stronger than the stock versions.

Just added and tested this weekend;

- Teraflex 1.5 leveling kit
- 17X8.5 KMC XD XD129 Holeshot wheels, I went with 34 offset as I really wanted to pull the tire in
- Kendra Klever 35x10.5

Love the setup, really took me a lot to find something with a positive offset anywhere near stock in this style. I don't plan to lift more than this, I like the look and performed well.
