They have excellent customer service, too, by the way.
We first saw the product at Overland Expo East. Here’s a better look at the rack/platform itself and the hitch adapter. The ball joint on the tent rack goes into the hitch adapter and allows you to easily raise and lower the rack and tent. Fold the legs out, swing the rack down, drive away!
It’s not light as a feather, but my wife and I can move the whole thing (rack with tent attached) around without difficulty

Anyway, some pleasant activities. Fed Ex
man came today and I promptly installed the Swing-Case I ordered. Plastic isn’t as thick as I hoped. I’ll see how well this holds up.
I have a portable air compressor in there,
jumper cables, towels, tow strap, D-rings,
a couple hand-tools, ratchet straps & a collapsible shovel. It supposedly can handle 75lbs. I’m prolly near that. Be safe all.

How does that handle on the road? Looks like it could get some buffeting.
How difficult was it to align and reattach to the hitch? Did the legs settle much into the ground?

Haven’t taken it on any long trips, and no Interstate Highway speeds yet, but local driving at 50mph I can’t tell it’s back there. I thought it might be a pain, but honestly it’s been a breeze. Maybe just a little sway in the curves, but no buffeting so far.

No need to dismount your hitch from your truck. The Hitch Tent Rack slides into your hitch receiver just like inserting a ball-hitch. Easy on/off.

The legs have very nice, big, square, articulated feet on them. I’m sure if the ground was saturated they’d sink some, but on “normal” ground they haven’t sunk at all yet.

No problem clearing the Trail Rail system ?

If your going to use the Rail system, the lid blocks total access by approx 1/4”. So the box would have to be removed if your needing to use the area aft of wheel well.
Straps could still be attached but depending on angle you wouldn’t want to stress the swing box. If I’m gonna need the Rail I’ll just pop the box out of the way.
There’s limited real estate to begin with with the bed size so there will be compromises.
This won’t be the last iteration on this truck.
I’m waiting on Maximus for the Roll Bar/ Rack to be released. I’m sure I’ll be making adjustments.

Converted rear crossbar on Rebel XPLOR rack into a quick release with 4 x 5" bolts & wing nuts ... so that I can use my Demon tailgate pad to transport up to 5 mountain bikes. Time to hit the trails!

This being the 83rd day of March, I got outside and gave her a big bath.

Tomorrow she goes in to have new driveshafts installed - the 38s and supercharger will appreciate that.
