Oracle bed lighting

I ran the strips under the tie down system from rear to front using the supplied double sided 3m tape. Drilled a small hole in the bed of the truck at the top. Installed a grommet then feed the wire into the void behind the stock bed lamps. The i tapped the stock wires and shrink wrapped all connections. Whole project with the jcr molle panel install took two hours. Which most of the time i spent on the molle panels and my cigar.

The lights work off the stock switch in the cab. I did not use the Oracle supplied switch.

WARNING.....be very very careful with the stock bed lamps. The have two clips (one on top and one on the bottom) but really held in with strong double sided tape Along the sides. They can break very very easily. Took a little time and patience to get them out without breaking. Once i did. I cleaned all the old tape off using rubbing alcohol and re-installed using gorilla double sided tape.

I am extremely happy with the output of the lights and the quality of the LED strips.

I’ll try to take close up pictures in a few days. The link to the lights are here⬇

Replaced the front sash speakers today, with Kenwoods. Also filled the roll bar with poly fill. Sound is so much louder, clearer and more crisp. Really good mod for the stock audio system!

I planned to take photos throughout the process, but got to rolling and forgot haha... so here is the stock speaker and a tools shot as well as a cool shot of my truck!

I'm going to have to try those speakers. But GOSKN5 it is freaky looking at my 'twin'. Colors are deceiving...is that Gobi or Gator?

Removed the soft top, re-installed my mopar sun bonnet, and then added an additional rugged ridge sun bonnet(made for the front) over the rear so our rear facing 10 month old has more shade(per mandate of “the boss”). Then tucked her all in for the night with our mopar rain cover.

After work, I installed my Tazer JL Mini that came in the mail... After recalibrating everything for the 37" tires, and changing a bunch of settings... Learning how this thing works... It's frigging COOL!!! You can lock the rear end in 2wd now, highs w/ fogs, 2wd sway bar disconnect, you turn off the auto start/stop, and it stays in that mode even when you turn the vehicle off, then back on. It does a million other things, too. Paired with the iDrive, now that all the shift points are correct and speedo is corrected, it's night & day difference. Fuel mileage was instantly going up, shifted smoother and at the right times, I even saw 8th gear a few times running 55-60 MPH in a quick test drive after install.

Worth every penny, especially paired together with the iDrive! :like:

*** Forgot to mention a cool feature of the Tazer JL Mini... If you have the 8.4" Navi screen with the backup camera, you can turn on a feature that automatically turns on the backup camera when you hit your turn signals, so you can see what's behind you! And it goes off automatically back to the main screen you were using on your radio after you turn, and the signals automatically go off. SUPER COOL! Also, it has a high-RPM "Winch Mode", that raises the RPM to 2,000 RPMs with the touch of a couple buttons. Cool stuff! Someone was really thinking when they designed this thing!

Also, the Tazer has modes that allow you turn off the factory lockers and swaybars if you have removed those from your Jeep for manual stuff. It also allows you to turn on/off your TPMS sensors, and adjust the minimum pressure before setting off the TPMS light. It has a million other things you can adjust. Just be sure and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS before installing. Also, be sure to check for a software update before installing...Mine had update 11.2 waiting to be installed.
